It's perfect!
First and foremost, a rare and wonderful note: This singlet is made in the U.S.A.I am petite, 5-foot tall, 120 lbs, wear size 8-10, and wear size 34B. I purchased a medium, not really knowing if I should have purchased a Large. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was true to size and fit me perfectly. I thought it would be too long, but it was not; it fit PERFECT in every way. On the model, the leg openings reach mid-thigh. For my height, it reaches a few inches above the knees, which I like, as it hides all the cellulite in the back of my legs. I plan to use it for swimming, as I already own a unitard Speedo swimming suit (Made in England), which had cost me $73(!) that I had purchased from amazon.FABRIC: The fabric is lightweight and will dry very quickly (82% nylon and 18% spandex). The only downside is that the leg openings have rubberized, one-inch band of elastic (rubber) mesh tape stitched inside, which, unfortunately, is slightly irritating/scratchy to the skin. I am hoping that with laundering and use, it will soften in time and no longer be scratchy. It is NOT lined. If you are bigger than a Medium and try to squeeze into it like a girdle, you can probably fit snugly into it, but be forewarned that because the unitard is not lined, your bare skin will show through the fabric, albeit, barely. Regardless what size you are, for modesty, I would recommend wearing the absolute sheerest panties you can find or sheer brief shapers (like Maidenform Self Expressions) and wear the sheerest tank top or attach a bra front to keep your nipples/breasts from showing through. I am guessing you can find nice, sheer tank tops in the lingerie department. I know it sounds like a lot of work and extra baggage, but for me, it's worth it only because it fits me like a glove. And if you like the sheer look, then you go, girl!I suspect since this unitard was made for wrestling, underwear is used as a general practice (brassiere and underpants).Since I know how to sew, I will take one of my black slips (25-50 cents from the thrift store) and cut it to make a permanent lining for the front torso. If you plan to sew anything onto the unitard, be sure to use BALLPOINT needles, which is used to sew any stretch fabric to avoid cutting the fibers of the fabric and cause a run.

Good for powerlifting competition
I ordered this singlet for my first powerlifting competition. I was concerned about coverage as I'm fairly tall. At 5'8" and 123#, the small fits quite well. The legs hit at mid-thigh and the scoop neck comes just about 1" below my collarbone.Thankfully standard competition rules allow you to wear undergarments as the material is a bit thinner than I'd originally imagined, but not see-through in any way. With a sports bra and weight-lifting briefs underneath, I feel quite secure that no one can see anything other than my wicked guns and gams. ;)The black isn't shiny like other singlets, which I prefer as shinier fabrics tend to show each bump and line. It's light-weight and moves with you. The leg openings have a rubber/elastic lining inside so they don't slide up when you squat or deadlift. As far as inexpensive women's singlets go, this one's the best for your money and leaves you feeling covered and secure.

Good entry level singlet
I bought this singlet for my first Olympic Weightlifting competition and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. I was honestly expecting the worst but the singlet provides a bit of compression so I don't look like a flabby sausage but flexible enough where I can move without any discomfort.I went to the Asics site to use their size guide so at 5'6" and in the 63kg weightclass, I bought the small and it fits like a glove. I would maybe go up to medium if I wanted to wear a t-shirt underneath but I don't plan on it.The first time I tried it on, I had a sports bra underneath and it felt really tight. However after several wears, it feels more comfortable so either it's stretched out or I'm just used to it. One con is that the singlet is slightly sheer so even when I wore dark underwear, you could see it when I'm in my starting position. Overall, I'm happy that I bought this singlet.

Wonderful!
This singlet is AWESOME. As other reviewers have noted, do size up. It fits well and is comfortable.Slips on and stays in place! Many have mentioned that it is great for power lifting but it is wonderful for aerobic exercise as well. No need to tug and readjust as you work out - even with running exercise. It is plenty thick enough, so no concerns about being able to see through it.I am getting another one !

Awesome
Great option for grappling! I have started wearing singlets under my gi for jiu jitsu and I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. My chest does not pop out and neither does my behind or belly button! Also really awesome that these are made in the USA. The quality is fantastic and the fabric is opaque... you can confidently strip down after class to toss a hoodie and sweatpants on for the drive home. I bought a small, medium and a large (my daughters wrestle and figured someone in the house would use them) To be honest, they all fit. The large one is not skin tight, but stays put. The medium fits well and the small fits snuggly, most noticeably around the thighs. I am usually a small or medium. For reference I'm 5'1" 120 36, 27, 37. Long story short, don't be afraid to order a size up if you are on the fence.
