Good for water aerobics exercise and physical therapy in a pool.
Very well made and good quality. I suggest reading the description, as this is not a life vest type belt.. however it's GREAT for water aerobics and physical therapy in a pool for sure! The main reason I bought it!I bought one for my 77 yr old husband who can't swim, and didn't want to get in a pool. He thought it was a life vest and said he didn't think it would keep him from drowning. (The pool's shallow end is 3' deep and hes 6' tall!) I told him that's not what it's made for. It's to help with buoyancy so you can exercise in the pool with more freedom of movement. He's had a back injury years ago and can't do regular exercises, but he is getting more exercise now that he gets in the pool! He still stays in the shallow end and that's ok, he's getting exercise he wasn't before. He is now comfortable enough to get in the pool, and do some stretching exercises. We go to the pool at our local recreation center. I've already recommended the belt to others.

Someone was thinking
I go to a deep water aerobics class where I tried two different belt styles. The style with one large piece of foam, and the type that has separate blocks of foam. They were okay, but not great. When I saw the design of this belt, it just made sense to me. Good back support, and accute bouyancy control. I've been very happy with this belt. The waist strap has velcro so that you don't have 4 feet of strap flopping around. . Whoever designed it was thinking.

Comfortable
They’re easy to adjust and keep me afloat while doing water aerobics, but the floats in the front move up or down and they need to be adjusted quite often while in the water if you’re moving a lot.

won't stay put
Nice quality, but it's missing something. Strap around the waist as tight as you want, but as soon as you get in the water, it will ride up under your armpits. I would have liked to see some kind of strap under the legs to hold it down, so it can hold me up.

Works well
Had to remove some flotation pads to makje it fit but it then worked well.

Be sure to adjust properly
My water aerobics instructor suggested I get a belt to reduce tension in my shoulders. I don't really notice it in class, but afterward I love floating around the pool and doing various ab exercises.I had to remove the smaller floats as they got in my way. Keeping it tight at my waist is difficult during class but less of a problem when I float on my back afterward.

Love it
I love how you can customize it. I’ve gone from 250lbs to 210lbs and still able to use the belt by adjusting. I think it’s worth trying.

Works well! Very comfortable!
I needed a belt that would allow me to float while using my water weight bumbells. At 219lbs and very little body fat most belts can't keep me afloat. This one really helps. For added flotation I can use my kick board under the belt.
