CBB60 12uF Motor Start Run Capacitor MFD 250VAC 50/60hz Cylindrical(12uF)

It was delivered quickly. It was proper size which fit perfectly. The machine now works as it should. This simple and inexpensive correction saved us expensive shop repairs or the cost of replacing the unit.

Replaced a 50uF start cap. The new one, rated at 50uF, tested at 63uF and was oversized lending me to believe it's really a 60uF cap. A 60uF cap with the 5% +/- would test out at 62.5uF. While the higher rating is ok in my case the larger size was a problem trying to fit it into the box.

The item was tge exact correct replacement for a barely used craftsman drill press that went bad. Arrived on time!

Works fine, the size was slightly larger but still squeezed into the cover.

I own a small belt sander. I live in the very arid Arizona environment. The garage is not insulated nor air-conditioned. The belt sander is stored in the garage due to sawdust, wood chips and other debris fro wood working. I purchased the capacitor. The only problem, + and - where not marked on the capacitor leads. I used a multi-meter to determine polarity. I connected the capacitor to the belt sander and tested polarity at each step of connecting the wires. The electric motor started without problem. The only problem I encountered was fitting the capacitor into the small enclosure holding the capacitor, swith and wiring. This problem was quickly corrected! The small belt sander now works properly.

It was what I needed to get my Dads drillpress going again.
