Excellent for its price!
For a third of the cost of a Porter Cable plate/biscuit joiner, this chinesium brand works like a charm... with a few adjustments. I'm a DIY hobbyist and I was originally wanting to get the PC joiner but my wallet was giving me the sore eye because of the cost. So I went with this after AOBEN model, tho it seems this is just a rebrand of a chinese made biscuit joiner.. you can probably see several listings of this very same joiner under different names below.Anyways.. right out of the box, the AOBEN biscuit joiner worked just fine if you needed to use it to align and glue up some wood. However, mine seemed to cut a little too deep for my tastes making the cut a bit too wide and deep for proper glue up.. about a 1/16th too deep. Good thing this comes with a depth adjustment screw.. Except whomever that put it on at the factory used some thread locker on it. Come on now. I ended up using some pliers to turn the locking nut and screw to set the depth correctly which also ended up messing up the nut and screw a bit.. I'll probably replace them later. After this, I tested a miter cut at 45 degrees.. and wouldn't you know, it's 1/16th too shallow! So it looks like they set it at the factory to allow for an accurate cut at an angle and accepted that it would be too deep on a straight cut. Well, I showed them! I figured out that switching the depth knob from 20 to M allowed for a deeper cut of 1/16th! And the mitered cut is at just the right depth now. I just need to remember to switch M for mitered (maybe that's why they labelled it M.. heh).Long story short.. this is a great little biscuit joiner for a very good price. It's a nice little addition to my home shop.

Works great.
I'm fairly new to woodworking and this is the first biscuit cutter I've ever tried. It was simple to use and set up. Cut beautifully with no issues. I'll definitely be using it much more in the future.

Works great on soft maple!
I am building a workbench and needed to glue 7 planks of soft maple together. It was recommended to me to get a biscuit jointer to prevent the pieces from sliding or shifting during gluing and clamping. When i saw the price for this I was doubtful that it would be very good but I ordered it figuring it was so inexpensive it was really no big deal if it was no good. Well this thing works! I have run it through about 75 biscuits and it is still sharp and accurate. My only complaint is the little bag that collects shavings. It does a great job but it is small and fills up quickly. when you are on a roll making biscuits it slows you down to have to stop and empty the little bag. I would estimate that you have to empty it about every 10 biscuits. If you could connect it directly to a dust collection system that would really be the best solution! Anyway, if you are considering buying this I can assure you that it works great when making 90-degree cuts. I did not make any cuts at other angles but I would assume it would do a good job. I was using the #10 medium-sized biscuits.

Great for occasional use.
For what it is I really appreciate the quality of this Aoben Biscuit Cutter. The dust collection bag does fill up fast so be sure to keep an eye on that, it makes a mess when the bag is full, but if you don't overfill the bag it is really tidy and I found that I did not have to fight dust and shavings once I figured out its capacity. The accuracy and repeatability far exceeded my expectations and I was pleasantly surprised to find spare brushes in the case as well, I haven't opened the brush doors but they seem to make it quite simple to change, should you ever need to. The cuts were clean and the depth was perfect on the #20 setting. I would definitely buy this again!

Affordable and easy
For the price, it does exactly as advertised. Having never used a biscuit joiner before, I could very easily figure out the depth settings and the associated biscuits. The angle indicator isn’t super clear, but 9 times out of 10 I’ll be cutting a straight biscuit into the board, so no issue. If doing 45 degree cuts, I recommend verifying your angles with a protractor first.

Great Value for the money
Not a professional wood worker. I been looking for a biscuit joiner for awhile but couldn't see spending the amount of money for a tool that I would use occasionally. Browsing Amazon I came across this attractively priced Biscuit cutter and decided to purchase it with no project in the near further that would allow me to utilize it. Low an behold my sister ask me to erected a wooden fence on her stone wall. I used the biscuit cutter to secure butt joints on the top caps. Worked perfectly

Functional, but some flaws
I gave this three stars because I think there's too much grade inflation on reviews. I love using this tool, but:1.I had to carve out the inside of the box to stow the tool without crimping the cord. And the box balances funky when you pick it up by the handle.2. The height adjustment scale is behind the plunge adjustment dial. I put an offset center punch mark further up the scale so with some mental arithmetic the scale is usable.3. On miters, the height didn't have enough range to put biscuits in the center of the board. I had to grind off the bottom of the sliding fence assembly to get enough range for biscuiting miters.4. The fence slides were rough when they arrived and needed filing to work smoothly.Again, love using the tool, but they could have done better.

Biscuits on a budget. Nice case.
Nicely packed in its own case (so nice to see, not too much to ask for in my opinion for a tool this size) and came with biscuits.I watched a couple videos on YouTube and tried it out. The height adjustment tool me a couple tries to get right and I was still able to set up, cut biscuits, glue and clamp a small panel in no time at all.It creaks a bit, it is not perfect, it is a little loud, it is a little heavy, it is $60 and comes with a case.At this price point it is a great tool that lets me tackle bigger jobs than I wanted to with dowels and a jig. There is nothing close in name brand territory and only Harbor Fright is in the ball park.I went with this one and am pretty happy. If it works for me on 10 projects I will be happy, no reason to think it won’t last for a few years.
