Beautiful stainless pot with clear lid. This large pot is great for making soups and stews. It is non stick with a surface that is thick and holds up even with metal utensils. Handles are very comfortable to hold. The clear lid makes it great to look at food without steam escaping. Would make a nice gift. Great purchase.

great little pot
Works on my induction stove. Boils water in basically the same time as my main pots do, maybe even faster. As it is heating up, you can feel the sides heating right up, straight up to the rim, a very good thing for fast, even heating of soups, stews, etc. I have yet to be able to scratch it, so I can say that using a metal spoon is okay so far, one month in. The lid fits on great. Funny, who would think you'd love a lid. It's nice and shiny without imperfections. A great little all clad saucepan.

Sturdy and non-stick
I have been using this little pot and lot lately. The workmanship is superb and it feels very sturdy and comfortable in my hand.It has a very elegant appearance and will look great in your kitchen! What surprised me a bit was a thickly coated interior, but it is definitely non-stick and resistant to scratches. I still use only silicone utensils, just to be on the safe side. The vented lid is included as well. Washing is very easy.I have cooked several small dishes in the pot and was very happy with the even heating and how the pot behaved on my ceramic stove.I highly recommend it!

Well constructed
The Circulon C1 Series Clad Stainless Steel 8 quart stock pot is a decent , mid-range pot for soups, stews, braises and the like. Compared to the Staub and Le Creuset pots I have, it is much lighter which can be quite a bonus when dealing with a full pot of a sauce or a stew. That said it still has good heft and is a substantial cooking vessel with a stainless steel clad aluminum interior. The handles are nice and wide which I love for a pot of this size, easy to grip and pick up even when hot out of the oven. I'm a fan of the glass lid as I'm a fussy cook and like to see what's going on in the pot. As with all nonstick coated pots, there are A LOT of rules for cleaning- no dishwasher, no abrasives, no powdered soaps, can't touch the surface with knives or sharp objects. The lifetime money-back guarantee states that the pot will withstand 200 years of daily wear and tear. I don't have the luxury of testing it for that length of time. All the babying that is needed per the cleaning instructions makes me think that I'll reach for one of my enameled cast iron pots ahead of this one, BUT if those pots are too heavy for you (a big concern) or if the enameled cast iron pots are not in your budget, this is a very nice 8 quart stock pot that will work well for you.

Nicest little pan I've owned!
The first thing you'll notice ablt this pan is it's heavy - nice thick sturdy steel handle and think textured bottom. We've been cooking everything from oatmeal to soups, sauteed onions & garlic, etc and it works great. I've even thrown in 1/2qt of oil to deep fry some fish and clams and it was absolutely great. Great quality and craftmanship. Should last a very long time.

Works well!
I love the size of this pot because it can hold plenty without being oversized and taking up too much space on my range. It does well with heating quickly, retaining heat and distributing it evenly. I haven't had issues with anything sticking to it yet. It seems like it's of fair good quality! Easy to use and easy to clean.

My chili came out delicious!
This 8 quart stockpot is amazing! It’s huge and perfect for making soups, stews and my famous family chili! It’s surprisingly lightweight yet feels solid. I intentionally didn’t want a Dutch oven because they are just way too heavy for me. I love the high-end nonstick surface that is durable enough that you can use metal utensils on it. The glass lid is great for monitoring and it’s even induction ready! Bottom line, my chili was cooked to perfection. Utterly delicious. I cannot wait to make chicken soup in winter. I can easily dump an entire bird in this pot and make my own stock. It’s everything and I love it so much!

Will this hold up to cooking?
2.5 stars rounded up to 3We purchased this to replace a stockpot we needed to throw away after several years. This pot is extremely nice. There are no blemishes on the pot, inside or outside. The handles are sturdy, which means you won't second guess picking up anything in the pot. The lid is very nice as well. The coating on this pot is a concern. Are you able to even cook in this? You are warned that the pot can stain and are given directions on how to handle if it does. The directions of how to clean, what can and cannot say stir food in this pot, etc. really is extensive. I am ok Not being able to place this in the dishwasher, but we are a family so silverware may be tossed inside the pot prior to me hand-washing. Also you are warned about a white powder that may bring about white powder on the cooking surface. What would cause this?! Should I be concerned. We will use this pot for a while, but if I see issues, I will stop. I would expect a pot that can be used for a family for this price.
