The media could not be loaded. I was interested in this test kit in response to a mailing I received from my water utility company. They informed me we had lead pipes somewhere leading up to our house and suggested we test for it.This test kit covers quite a few substances, but the basic test strips are fast and easy to test. For comparison, I tested the normal tap water and what comes out of my Reverse Osmosis (RO) faucet expecting a difference. I did see more contaminants (though nothing at dangerous levels) in the unfiltered water.The test process couldn't be easier: dip a strip for 2 seconds, let sit horizontally for 15 seconds, and compare to the colors on the package. It was easy to see which level each test pad was closest to.Overall, I'm very happy with this test kit. It includes plenty of test strips, so I'll be able to periodically test, as needed, for quite some time.

I ordered these because we are in a rural location and have super hard water, and I wanted to make sure it was safe to drink.The strips are easy to read, and fast and easy to use. Very good value with 145 strips in the bottle, which closes tight and keeps them fresh.

Works very well

Tests as stated. I used them on multiple water sources to make certain they were accurate. Distilled water, spring water, alkaline water, house source water, house filtered water. The amazing thing I gleaned from this is that our municipal water is at the EPA maximum for sodium. Not good if you drink a lot of water and have high blood pressure. I think EPA should lower the threshold to 125 ppm. Because you can’t filter out sodium. You’d need a RO system.

These don't seem to be very accurate as our tap water is nasty and yet when we compared the tap water to our filtered water the results looked almost identical.

Having well water, we love having a way to test our water without having to pay each time. Instructions are good and it’s easy to do.
