Stylish & Functional – A Great Addition to My Kitchen!
Stylish & Functional – A Great Addition to My Kitchen!I am so happy with this kitchen island! It arrived well-packaged with all the parts clearly labeled, and the instructions were straightforward — I was able to put it together by myself in just a couple of hours.Once assembled, it looked even better than I expected. The design is clean and modern, and it adds a really nice touch to my kitchen. The extra counter space is a game changer for meal prep, and the storage shelves/drawers are perfect for keeping things organized and within reach. It feels sturdy and solid, with a nice weight to it — not wobbly or flimsy at all. The wheels roll smoothly and lock securely, so I can move it around easily when needed and then keep it in place. If you’re looking for a kitchen island that’s both practical and stylish, this one’s a great pick. It adds both function and charm to the room. Highly recommend!

Very Functional!
Really like the look and the quality is pretty good for the price. I'm a chick, and enjoy home projects, and although it went together pretty easily, it took a lot longer than I thought. One review said an hour (man), but it took me 2 days, at about 5-6 hours each, AND I have an electric drill...I would HIGHLY recommend an allan-wrench drill bit if you have an electric drill; LOTS of Allan wrench-ing! LOL. Overall pretty satisfied, just not the best, as it's particle board type of material. Solid wood would likely be way too expensive. Now for some nice bar stools or chairs!

Long assembly, short cord looks great, pleased overall
As stated in my Title, the assembly of the island was pretty involved, but thankfully, I have a 15-year-old who has put together Legos his whole life and he does a pretty good job helping out Mom putting together furniture. The left hinge on the trash compartment gets stuck from time to time, and I’ve only had this for a couple of months. I’m not sure if it needs some sort of WD-40 or lubricant, but if I bop pretty hard with the handle of my scissors, I can usually unlock it and close the door. Aside from that, my only other complaint is that the cord that connects to the power source to power the plugs on top of the island is really short. I have to use an extension cord to get it to my wall outlet to power the island if I want to move it at all. Overall, I think it’s a nice looking addition to my kitchen, it is functional, my son eats breakfast at it every day and it provides additional counter space for my small kitchen. For what you pay it is definitely worth it , I just wish it had a longer cord and that the hinge wouldn’t stick.

Really, REALLY nice island at any price
A forewarning - if you're not REALLY good at assembling flatpack, this will challenge you. I pride myself on being very good at flatpack and this took me over 3 hours and a host of tools. There are about 40 pieces and 20+ different types of screws and hardware. My advice - use a drill with adjustable torque and set it quite low so that you don't strip the screws, the material is definitely cheap particle board. Also, ditch the tiny included Phillips head for a wide flat screwdriver when it comes to the turn-and-lock fasteners. All of that said - this thing ROCKS! Very sturdy, looks GREAT, tons of storage. Drawers could be deeper. Soft-close cabinets feel great. The top is expansive, and the outlets are perfectly placed. More than stable enough to place our Kitchenaid on for pasta and breadmaking, rolling out doughs, etc. I probably wouldn't cut directly on it - the top isn't butcherblock, it's made like a door (hollow core). But it still feels plenty solid. I'm so impressed that this thing is only $250, I'd happily pay double. Many great meals will be made on ours. Highly, highly recommended!

Convenience, organizer, on wheels!
This is the best piece of furniture that I have ever bought! It is so convenient in my kitchen, holds every thing I need for baking in one area. The collapsible extension leaf makes it so wide that I can spread things out and roll dough and have a cookie sheet ready to load! If you need counter space, cabinet space, I recommend this item,

Nice. Doesn't last.
Within a couple of weeks the doors started coming off. The screws holding the hinges into place are very small and after only a couple of uses they became lose and then came undone. I live alone and haven’t used it much so it’s very disappointing. It’s already built so didn’t bother complaining to have to return it. It’s nice but won’t last.

perfect for extra counter and storage space
My wife and I have a small apartment and only have a few cabinets. This gave us 2 more draws and plenty of new cabinet space. Once put together it is very sturdy and looks amazing with our decor and other kitchen cookware stored away. The only drawback is the instructions. While they are laid out in easy to perform steps. they use very poor markings on the bags and mix similar screws in the same bag. The pictures while very helpful, I had a very hard time ensuring I was using the right screw in the right place. This is the only reason for the lower stars. Unless you are pretty handy this one will take a long time to assemble making sure you have the right screw in the right place. Lastly there is no reason to use keyed screws in this kit. Using an Allen key for only 1 screw is just cruel on a long screw.Bottom line if you have time and patience this is a great addition to any small kitchen area or any area us need a temporary or mobile Island cabinet.

Best Buy!
I love this island. We have it in our motorhome. It is sturdy, easy to assemble. The storage is great. I can store our crock pot, pots and pans, and utensils. It freed up 3 of our motorhome drawers. When we travel, it is easy to move and lock in place. I would suggest adding caps for the screws so they don't show and give an option to buy a trash can.
