This bag is exactly what I hoped it would be: a stylish, comfortable, versatile bag that would bridge the gap between personal, work and school needs.In terms of looks, my pictures don't do the bag justice. It's good quality and very attractive. I wanted to include these pictures as many reviewers have been unhappy with the size of the bag. As others have stated, it could be used as a large purse or a small overnight bag. This bag was perfect. It's stylish, yet conservative enough to fit well in both personal, school and work settings. It carries everything I might need without seeming overwhelmingly large. For my use, this bag is perfect. The optional cross body strap is a great feature; when the bag is fully loaded it is still comfortable to carry and my hands are free.

After reading all of the mixed reviews and comparing this European style canvas bag with similar canvas bags available on Amazon, I ordered this one and crossed my fingers. When it first arrived, I was not completely impressed. The canvas was very stiff and it seemed shapeless. I thought I'd made a mistake. But the next morning when deciding which bag to take to work that went with my outfit, I took this bag for a test dive. I'm happy to say that I have become quite fond of this bag since then. It goes with just about every outfit, the canvas has softened up a bit, and it really is a chic design that I don't see anyone around me sporting. The fake leather handles look great and add an expensive look to the bag. I'm not bothered by the long zipper, just tuck it into the bag, voila. It has a large zipper pocket inside, plus two open pockets that are perfect for my cell phone and keycard for work. It has another large zipper compartment in the middle of the bag that some people complained about, but it doesn't bother me. I haven't put anything in it yet, but it's large enough to stash a full size clutch. It also has a smaller outside zipper compartment where I put my keys. There's really space for everything, even the tupperware that I take my hot breakfast to work in every day. It comes with a long shoulder strap that seems quite sturdy but I haven't used that yet either, I like it more as an oversized handbag. Really glad I took a chance on this, great purchase!

Bought in January/February.-It's soft, holds up against weather and strain, and has been sturdy for me! I use it as a purse, though it is a little bigger than most I have owned (think tote vs. shoulder bag).-The con for me is the smaller hand straps, which I do not use as straps, that I am constantly belting back into place. I wear it across me as a messenger bag style, and the position does not affect how well those straps stay on.-I keep about 5lb. of items in mine, and the clasps have all held very well. A few times a month, I wear it with 2 water bottles and a drawing tablet inside for a hike. Holds nicely!

I use this bag to travel and as my gym bag when I need extra items like a brace or different type of shoe. I have small kids so this also is large enough to hold a diaper or two and some wipes and a change of clothes in addition to the items that I need. I like this bag because it is durable and does not seem to rip easily. The opening is large enough to fit a lot inside of it, and I have banged, tugged, and drug this everywhere and there is not so much as a thread out of place! For the Price, I am very impressed with how well made this bag is, and can see myself using it for years to come!

I love this bag. It's big enough to hold my 17" laptop (though it takes some finagling to get in) and all my other work gear. I even kept a 1.5" binder in it for a while with quite a lot of room to spare. The adjustable handles have been a godsend. It has a big zippered pocket in the middle which divides the inside into two distinct pockets, which is handy, and has another smaller zippered pocket on the upper lining for small things like tampons or pens that you don't want floating around in the big pocket.The outside is a nice thick canvas, pretty heavy-duty but not enough to feel military grade. I carried it around with me for almost a year every single day, wherever I went, and it's still in fantastic condition, so it's definitely well made. Perfect for busy professionals or just as a weekender bag.

I was hesitant on purchasing this purse/bag due to some of the reviews about the size and the crossover handle clips breaking... but I received my purse as that is what I’m using for and totally love it! Yes it’s bigger than a lot of purses but I read the dimensions before I purchased it, so I knew how big it was gonna be. The hardware came in great condition and it’s holding up with what I carry in my purse, which is normally a wallet, small makeup bag, gum. Etc but I usually carry a TN also on longer trips in the car along with water bottle too, and love the spaciousness of this bag, glad I got it.

I LOVE it!! If you’re looking for a smaller purse this isn’t for you! I like a bigger purse because I like to carry all of my stuff to be prepared. The handles are nice, my purses have always been heavy and it’s holding up just fine!! It also comes with a shoulder strap which I love that as well because if my shoulder or back start hurting I can use the strap to strap over across. It has 7 different compartments to where you can organize your stuff! It looks exactly like the pictures! I love this bag! If you’re wanting a bigger sized purse I recommend!! I’m very pleased!

...I really wish they'd use sturdier hardware. The clips keep stretching so they no longer clip, and/or outright breaking so you can cross body it anymore. The bags are stylish and heavy canvas and well made, but the hardware needs to be better. PLEASE. I have to buy a new bag every time it fails. Or learn to sew heavy duty webbing and replace the hardware myself. Not at all cost effective, so this will be the last one I buy. That being said, I still love the bag, and would prefer to NOT have to look for similar elsewhere.

This is a really great bag, it is roomy and goes with absolutely everything. It is also light weight so using as shoulder bag is comfortable. I like the neutral colour. I have removed the handles as I wanted it as a shoulder bag only. However, whichever way its used its very versatile. Very happy with my purchase :)

I ordered this bag in the red. After reading the reviews. I thought the size would work. It didnt, it was huge. However, everything else about the bag was perfect which is why tho i returned it, im still giving it 5 stars. If youre looking for a school tote, or a small weekend bag, this is perfect, I usually stick to a high quality leather bag, and im fairly picky, but i thought the canvas was fab quality. If i had of needed a larger bag, i would have kept it.

This bag is like a tardis. It's rather large and trying to find anything in it could take a while. Not my best purchase. Will use it as an overnight bag not a handbag. Quality is good though.

Not used it yet but it looks as if it will do the job for hand baggage on the plane. It’s soft so will fit in overhead lockers easily. Large, lots of pockets inside.
