I am an engineer and residential contractor. Plumbing repair is my least favorite task. I'll admit, I did not believe the hype, but went ahead anyway. Worked great. So far, so good. Immediate repair - NO leaks, no fire danger, no glue, no getting 50 fittings, minimal prep and minimal tools.

This was perfect for my post mounted outdoor faucet that started leaking. I just cut off the copper pipe, pushed this in place, and screwed it into the post. Took three minutes to install and saved me a $200 plumbing bill. Perfect solution!

I've been meaning (for 8 years now) to run a water line from our house into our attached garage. The main reason was for our fridge ice maker but I also wanted a hose access for those winter months. I finally decided to tackle the project so I turned to the "SharkBite" fittings.These are simply amazing. So easy to use and super fast. Once you prep your line properly, you simply push the line in the fitting, make sure it's seated all the way and Done! No more soldering. I especially like the design of the tap itself. It has a nice grip. These are amazing especially for close quarters. Even if you mess up, you can simply remove them and fix your error.Overall, these are a lifesaver. I know many people say these type of fittings don't last but I've seen homes that have had them for years with no leaks. I took a chance with these and I'm confident they will last a long time (hopefully forever). Used this product on an outdoor garden spigot. Attached to a copper water line. Easy installation, started to use it minutes later. Great product.

love using these for my outdoor water lines. Ran water to the garden and attached this spigot. Super easy to attach... anyone can do it. You do need a hose cutter to make sure your hose is cut straight. Love shark bites

I love shark bite, but in this hose bib, the stem washer will sometimes get pulled right off the little screw that holds it in place. I had to reposition mine twice before using a small metal washer to give the set screw more purchase. But with that little fix it works great.
