I did not receive the plastic tabs. Without the tabs, these are no good.

These are exactly what you expect. They will hold multiple, full file folders. Be aware that you have to put these together- each folder has to be expanded and you stick a piece of cardboard in the bottom. It takes about 20 minutes to assemble the box. Great organizational tool because it’s easy to separate related files by color instead of just tabs.

I thought I was ordering standard vs. legal size, but that wasn't an issue. I was hoping for heavy duty plastic with side supports, and a heavy bottom, which is not the case. They supply a thin piece of cardboard that fits between two cut half moons to add additional support for the items in the file. I ended up taping the cardboard, as I can see them failing at a later date. If you plan to use these in a plastic file case for business travel in the car to haul literature, and don't plan to take them in and out, I think you'll be ok. These aren't exactly road warrior approved!

We did use the cardboard spreaders to reinforce the bottom of the hanging file. Used the suggestion of a previous reviewer and taped the spreader to hold it in place. Do not believe these would hold files of much weight.

As a teacher I keep lots of handouts for students, tests and activities. I kept struggling with traditional hanging folders falling, breaking or not holding everything I needed together. These Pendaflex are very sturdy and having reinforced sides keep everything in place. I also use them as divisors between students during testing that way I don’t have to rearranging sits every time.

These file folders are awesome! Im very happy I found them. the width is perfect for my needs. I dont like the cost associated with these but in the end they are well worth the money. Wish they had other colors!

Works great and are sturdy

Perfect for our use! Sturdy and good quality. Excellent choice for a filing cabinet. There's no point to use small hanging folders that only hold one or two folders at most - I see no point to that, it's a waste of money. these larger sized ones are super convenient and they may seem expensive but they are a perfect investment to hold your files.
