I am very happy with this coffee table. I was a little hesitant at first because of the negative reviews. But once we got it together I can tell it is made of solid material, it's sturdy, and it seems like it will last. We have been using it for several days and the surface doesn't seem to scratch easily.As far as putting it together it wasn't that difficult. My husband put it together by himself (and he's not a handy man) the only time he needed my help was when you put the frame onto the top after you connect the pieces.We took the advice of other reviews and didn't use the glue that came with it. We used E6000 industrial strength craft glue, which works on wood too. It also dries clear which is important for this table because you will get a few spots coming out.It has ample storage space! It is a great deal for $161 I think, most tables like this would be twice as much in the furniture store and made of the same materials too. I love the drawers.My only complaint about this table is if anything touches it like hands or cat paws it will leave an oil stain, which can easily be wiped off with a damp cloth. So I wouldn't recommend this table if you have young kids.Also note to cat owners, our cats love the trays!

Like others have mentioned, the instructions weren't that great, there are a number of steps where you flip the work you did previously, so pay attention to those steps.They don't give enough glue, so I had to use some of my own wood glue - if you don't have any, I'd recommend getting some. They also don't remind you to use the glue for the dowels, so make sure you put some on each dowel joint.For the price, the tolerances aren't that great either. I had everything attached, and I could notice a small gap along some of the edges. I had everything tightened down, so it was just with the way it was cut. It won't be noticeable to others, but considering the price, I was expecting a bit better.The veneer is also very easy to chip, so be careful when manipulating it and putting the fasteners in. I was lucky that the parts that I chipped would be covered by another piece, but be careful.It looks fine now, but I don't think it was that great of a value. It should last long enough though.

This table is very nice and serves my purpose. My 16 year old son put up the table and I only helped him fix the inner dividers before he finally put the base. It took him an hour to do it even while watching a movie. We did not have any use for the glue at all and the pieces fit perfectly and strong. However, I would have loved the table to be a bit higher (may be 20 inches in height). The drawers are deep and wide enough for my use and the trays are just perfect (no scratch).

I have so many compliments on this coffee table, it is low enough so as not to be visually obtrusive, the 2 drawers hold your bits and pieces, I have put dividing boxes into them for remotes, pens, notepads, sticky tape etc. the 2 trays are great as you can put ice cold drinks in them and the condesation does not ruin your wood. The 2 nooks for displaying a bowl or for magazines and books. It is great just what I was looking for. I originally saw it 2nd hand really cheap but missed out on it, but I loved it so much I searched until I found it and purchased it new.

It's sleek, low, and practical. It's got tons of storage space, and it doesn't waste space the way a round coffee table would. I was worried about the quality while assembling it, but it has been very durable considering it is MDF. The table trays are also a great touch, and the drawers are surprisingly durable. I've had awful drawers on furniture before, and I am pleased with this. The color is also great.Assembling this table was not easy, particularly since I did it on my own. It was doable; it just took a lot of time. I thought the instructions were fairly clear. I would certainly buy this again if given the choice again.

While it took a few hours to put together, primarily figuring out range vague instructions, everything went together just as it should. The only error was the soft pads on one of the trays were on the top rather than the bottom. The trays are much more substantial than I expected, and one cat had already claimed them.After looking for the perfect coffee table for years, this one is it. A fraction of the price of other tables, decent quality, and nice design, it's a bargain. Drawers for the clutter, open storage for things used every day, and trays to keep bevvies off the wood.

I bought this coffee table about a month and a half ago. One of the pieces for a drawer came broken, however I just used some wood glue and clamps to put it back together. Overall the table has a nice design with some decent storage space. Once put together, the table is a little heavy, but very sturdy. I have sat on it, note I am 180 lbs. to check how stable, and nothing broke. I could see the coffee table lasting a long time, and is a good investment for the price. The only concern I had while putting it together was the base of the drawers, which are very thin and flimsy.

Love love love.I love how heavy and durable it is!I love all the storage!I love how it looks!Still have it over 3 yrs later, still looks good and moves well considering the toll moving takes on furniture.Cons: the corners are very pointy and I'm tall, my shins took a beating until I got used to it.I would watch children carefully around this table.

Assembly took 1.5 hours with two people.Happy with the style and design, very useful if you need storage. My only issue is that two of the pieces looked scratched, one of the white trays, and inside one of the drawers.I think I would buy again, it looks good'
