Janlyn Cross Stitch Kit
I won’t know anything to say about this product until I have had time to make it. I can say that with other JanLyn kits I have ordered I have not been short on the embroidery thread. Instructions for completion are included. I feel assured when ordering a JanLyn product that it will be good.

Pretty project
Took me awhile but finally finished. Enough thread to work with. Project is fairly straightforward and fun to stitch.

This was not what I had ordered.
This kit comes from China. All in Chinese. They used their own stamped version instead of the original no-count cross stitch. The color numbers did not match the pattern. Not the original kit . They must have made a copy of it. One thing I must say tho, they responded very quickly. They said that they were sorry that I didn't like the kit and were willing to refund me half the money if I kept the kit so that's what I did, and received my refund very quickly.

It's time to stitch.
Grest project to work on, the thread needs to be cut. They are double length of traditional floss.

Very frustrating kit
While the picture is lovely, I found this an incredibly frustrating kit for a number of reasons and it started at the very beginning. Organizing my thread, I discovered about 20 of the 35 colors did not have the number of strands indicated on the Color Key chart. They had less than noted. I did end up having enough at the end, but I was nervous. Definitely keep your thread organized! Many colors are very similar and hard to tell apart except under good lighting. As for the pattern, I am utterly mystified why they chose dots and dashes for symbols as they are virtually impossible to distinguish under the back stitch lines. The font they chose to use made the '6' and '8' look almost identical. For that reason alone, I'd highly recommend enlarging the pattern as much as you can. Speaking of the back stitch lines, they were especially frustrating. The solid black line was almost the same point weight as the 10 square lines which threw off my counting from time to time. I recently completed a Dimensions kit and that manufacturer used pink and blue lines for the back stitches which was very helpful and eliminated confusion. Finally, the thread. I have never worked with thread that tangled and knotted as much as this did. Some days I felt like I was pulling apart knots more than I was cross-stitching. Some colors were worse than others (the dark violet, dark red, were particularly troublesome) and there seemed to be a quality (thickness) difference between colors. Overall, I was not happy with this kit and will probably not buy another Janlynn pattern because of the many issues. A shame because with a few small tweaks, it would have been much more enjoyable.

Nice picture needs more detail on the thread
I did not like that the Threads did not match the colors. There was even one color that isn’t even on the color chart. Though I’m not finished it is coming out pretty decent
