Are these Over-ear headphones or on-ear? I want the pads to go round my entire ear

They are over the ear but the cushions are on the small side, There is also very little pressure against the head, the seal against the ear is poor. Sound quality is not that good either If you want something which provides good insulation against ambient noise these are not the best of options. In this price range it may prove difficult to find anything much better tho.

Can you remove the microphone, to put a bendable one on?
