Atomik Rock Climbing Holds XXL Bolt-On Stalactite in Orange

I really like Atomik as a company. The problem I have with this particular hold is that they described it as an XXL Stalactite. It only projects 4 inches down from the ceiling. I was expecting at least 8 inches. The hold itself is pretty good; I am using it on a roof section. But I was expecting it to be a lot bigger. I kind of feel like a kid who was excited about ordering Sea Monkeys then got tiny microscopic shimp.UPDATE: Atomik has this hold for a different price on their website. For the price they list on their site this hold is AWESOME and would get 5 stars. I severely overpaid for it, thus the three stars. Too bad, because I really appreciate the service and convenience of shopping on Amazon and the prices are usually very competitive, but not in this case. I have a lot of holds from Atomic. These things are works of art in and of themselves, and the quality is consistently high, and most importantly they are super fun to climb on. Also to clarify, this hold does protrude exactly 4 inches from the ceiling, but it is wide and it is definitely big enough to match on with many different ways to grab it. It is fun to climb up to it, pinch it with one hand then match and undercling with the other hand before getting your feet high and passing it.

Mine came yellow instead of purple. Seems like a nice hold though.

I got this hold directly from Atomik and I love it. There are a half dozen different ways to hold this if you put it on a roof. As the previous reviewer stated, it is about 6" tall which give you plenty of room to match.
