8oz Oil, 3oz Wood Wax

Recently upcycled solid maple cabinets from my mother's kitchen reno. Cabinets that were the last big thing touched by my father who passed in 2011, so was a tough decision to have removed. I made cutting boards for each of my families homes so we have a piece of his legacy forever. Plan to gift them on mother's day tomorrow. I only mention this to tell you how important it was for me to do these right and with the right product. It didn't take much research to find Walrus Oil products. Even the packaging caught my eye. Price point seemed reasonable and being food grade and practically scent free checks all the boxes. Plenty of instructions but this product just works and it's hard to mess up. The oil went on beautifully and made my craftsman heart happy. Literally made me remember how much I love wood working. Cutting and routering and sanding did that too but the beauty this product added brought it home for me. I'm sure there are hundreds of options. I see no real reason to look any further than with this product line. Cheers and just buy it. Seriously easy affordable beautiful.

I recently discovered the WALRUS Cutting Board Oil and Wood Wax Set, and it has completely transformed the way I work with wooden products, particularly laser-etched cutting boards. This fantastic duo is not just food-safe, but it also leaves a stunning finish when used as directed. As a creator of custom laser-etched cutting boards and various other wooden items, I've been on the hunt for a product that can enhance my work and provide a clean, professional look. The This Warrus Oil set has exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features of this product is its food-safe nature. When you're dealing with kitchen essentials like cutting boards, butcher blocks, wooden spoons, and bowls, ensuring they are safe for food contact is a top priority. You can have peace of mind knowing that the finish is 100% food-safe, making it ideal for all culinary applications. What truly sets this product apart, though, is its incredible compatibility with laser etching. Before engraving your design onto a cutting board, a thin coat works wonders. It acts as a protective barrier, preventing the laser from burning the edges of the letters or design. This simple step has drastically improved the precision and quality of my laser-etched products. No more unsightly scorch marks or uneven edges! The application process is straightforward, and the results speak for themselves. The finish is smooth, lustrous, and enhances the natural beauty of the wood. Plus, the Wood Wax included in the set provides an extra layer of protection and adds a subtle sheen to the wood, giving your creations that extra touch of elegance. In conclusion, if you're a woodworker, laser engraver, or anyone working with wooden items that require a pristine finish and food-safe properties, the This Cutting Board Oil and Wood Wax Set is a game-changer. It not only ensures a top-notch finish but also revolutionizes the laser etching process. It has become an indispensable tool in my workshop, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow craftsmen and artisans. Five stars all the way!

This cutting board oil is excellent quality. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feel. My cutting boards look refreshed and have a nice natural shine after using it. I also like that it is food safe and made with simple ingredients. A little goes a long way so the bottle should last a while. It is easy to apply and makes a noticeable difference right away.

I have used other products but this is by far the best I have ever used. Easy to use, no odor and very durable.

Good quality but the seal was jacked up on the liquid and I had to use another bottle to dispense properly, but would def buy again, my $200 board looks like a $1M!

The cutting oil I use before it’s perfect for cutting boards the wax is the first time but same brand I liked

I have used this product on a few items and it works and looks great!!!

This is the good stuff. Follow the instructions and repeat as necessary and your cutting boards will always be seasoned and ready.

Very nice finish

Pity the walruses that got squeezed into a tin, but the product is great. Visibly improves the look of our wooden thingies, stuff bought in the street in Bali which now looks as if it came from a proper designer shop. No trace of walrus fur, no tusk bits, so I have to assume the walrus squeezing machinery they use must be very powerful. Much better than my orange juicer which leaves bits even in the no bits mode. The company has done a great job in also neutralising smells. I am no biologist but from what I see on the Discovery Channel these are beasts fed largely on fish. And you know how your fingers smell after assembling a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich. So odourless is no small accomplishment. Great product all round.

Product arrived 3 days early. Would definitely reorder as it works well.

Love this product, ideal for serving, charcuterie and chopping boards, more expensive than most but value for money, a little oil goes long ways have used other oils but this now my go to product. Woodie woodcraft

Oil soaks in nicely and wax polishes up nicely. Odourless which is great and the boards look great. I never use stain and the Walrus oil brought out the natural wood grain beautifully. Will definitely reorder a larger amount.
