Purchased these to replace the shoelaces on my daughter's school shoes that were really bad quality, rounded and finished with some waxy coating making it difficult to tie her shoelaces. These are good old fashioned (flat) laces that do the job and make it a lot easier to properly tie laces for younger kids because they don't have any coating and are not overly thick and chunky, happy with them overall. Just wish there were 2 in a set because we needed for another pair of shoes as well and thought they were a little pricey for one pair.Note that for a size 5 shoe these were a little on the long side but we have made them work.

My teen wanted these for their school shoes, as they are very colourful person who wears colourful clothes always, but then has to wear a school uniform that is devoid of any bright colours whatsoever. As my teen says "Well, they said I had to wear black shoes, they didn't say anything about what colour the laces had to be!". They are a little short, as you can see in these timberland boots, probably fit kids shoes better, but they're also a great size if you don't do up your laces and just tuck them in, my teen pulls theirs really very tight where I'm concerned about them cutting off all circulation to their feet so they're still able to tie them in a bow doing that.They look so cute and eye catching. Down with boring uniform colours! :D

Good quality laces in black. Transformed my old trainers with a few baby wipes and these new laces. Slightly on the short side for these Nike air Max though as had to miss the tongue loop to make them fit.Red ones looked more orange to me and will not be using them. There's not a lot of lace left to tie once threaded but I don't tie trainer laces anyway so not a problem.Black laces: 4 starsRed laces: 2 starsOverall fairly pleased.

Perfect, even during quarantine arrived promptly, well packed in a protective bag.Laces match described dimensions, colours are woven not just printed on, so they will last for ages, most of all they made my daughter smile.

I often wear sunhats but have difficulty keeping them on my head and so all my hats have been fitted with strings. A long flat shoe lace attached at each side of the inner headband of the hat, and controlled with a cord button, so that on a windy day the string can be drawn up close under my chin, but left loose if it is not windy. Possibly eccentric, but it works and is better than a ribbon tied under my chin. This particular rainbow one was not my first choice, as I would have preferred a cream or beige one, but now that it is on it looks jolly and works a treat.

I purchased these laces to go with two pairs of Vans skate shoes, a hi-top and classic style. Both of them only came with black laces and I wanted to put the iconic white laces on them. Official Vans laces are quite expensive so I ordered these to try them on my old school classic vans and I was shocked how similar they are to official Vans laces! The quality is great and they look clean and new. Also a bargain for the price. I also loved the ease of knowing what size I wanted as described in both cm and inches. Extremely happy with my purchase that I’ve bought another pair of lace for my other hi-top Vans. Very happy.

I have to confess that this purchase has been an unexpected source of delight for me :) The bright orange color is noticeable and enlivens a pair of dark blue trainers with orange inserts... looks great and they are still surprisingly bright after using them daily for a few months.For an adult be sure to buy the 120cm though, 100 is a bit too short and I had to skip the last pair of holes (couldn't be bothered to replace them... next time!)
