CONMDEX Guitar Converter Adapter Link for Phone/Pad/Pod

Well I plugged it into my Huawei p smart tried amplitude and it didn't work .I will try it on an iPad later. However it works with tonebridge on my android phone and isn't bad so all is not lost

I was expecting a generic unbranded and got one marked and boxed as iRig. It’s easy to setup and connect and works well with IK multimedia apps and others on the market. It works well thru headphones but also with the right connections it can go thru an amp or mixer. So it does make it cheaper than buying fx pedals and a quick connection for bedroom jamming. Good product, yes I could have saved 50% by waiting for delivery from China but it’s still a cheap no brainer. Only small downside is that the app can be slow to initialise and sometimes you will need to close and reopen.

It works fine, basic piece of kit that does exactly what it’s meant to do

I was really looking forward to using this with Garageband after being advised that it was compatible.It was a huge letdown.In the event i had to download and use Amplitube WITH Garageband to get any sound out of it and It took a bit of work to get the connectivity .It wouldnt work through the headphone jack socket of the ipad and in the end i had to connect the headphone to lightning adaptor to get it to work.Really with something like this you just want to plug and play - It doesnt.The sound quality is absolutely atrocious on Amplitube and Garageband.There is loud background humming and hissing on every pedal/amp setting and many also have extremely bad feedback problems too,meaning the volume has to be turned right down,which kind of defeats the object .Even the 'clean' settings sound distorted and fuzzy.Adjusting the noise gate makes little difference.Seriously,if this is a genuine iRig i am embarassed for them.Dissapointing waste of time.

Excellent product I thought I would give it a go despite the negative reviews more than happy that I ignored as works brilliantly. I plugged into my practice amp from the headphone socket and works great too.

The quality of recording onto phone is amazing. Absolutely what you need if your a guitarist or mixing on a set of decks.Simple to use & a must have item in your kit.
