Does this work on toenails?

Works great on the toes. My polish actually stays on my toes longer than my fingernails with this the primer/base and top coat combination!

What is the difference between this and no-acid primer? and do i need both? i'm using orly gel fx bodyguard. thank you.

This is a non-acid primer.. Orly just put there spin on it since its developed to be used with there system of gels.. Its a great product I use it as primer for my hard gel full sets and it works great.. I use IBD hard gel..

Is this a gel base coat?

No. This primes your nail, prepping it for the next step - your gel base coat. The primer basically ensures that the gel base coat adheres to your nail by removing any oils from your nail bed.

How long under the IV/led light?

The length of time under the light depends on the Wattage of your Lamp. To be safe you should let it set 60 - 90 seconds

Great size, Great product

I love all of the ORLY products, I purchased 2 colors, light pink & cool pink. Both are very natural & beautiful. I love this gel builder. It’s the only thing that stays on my nails. Regular polish & gel polish peel off easily, even when prepped properly. I also purchased the base/primer & the top coat. As well as the remover (which seems stronger than acetone nail polish remover) and I have all of the tool, scraper, clippers, etc

You need this for any artificial nails!

I do my own nails. I don't need to buff them first because I use this. It really helps the gel hold, stops them from lifting, which makes the whole process much faster/and they last longer. Highly recommended; will definitely buy again

No lifting

I've tried other primers, but the Orly primer never fails to perform. As a novice that started doing my own nails during the pandemic, I have found that the Orly primer give me the best results with no lifting that can so often occur. I will continue to purchase it as needed.

Excellent primer!

I did not expect this product to be so easy to use. I was expecting your normal gel primer. This primer has the consistency of regular nail polish. It cures easily and the color coat goes on smoothly. I would definitely buy it again.

No brand packaging

The product itself is fine but it came with none of the original packaging (just a small clear plastic baggie) and no instructions.

Licensed Nail Technician Approved...

As a licensed nail technician, I cannot apply any kind of gel polish/shellac without a primer. I have tried several different brands like Bondaid, Gelish, Kiara Sky, and OPI. This particular product is the only one to work for me. Orly is definitely my go to for my gel primer.
