Love the set but pretty pricey

I love this duvet, but I thought it would be thicker. Looking at the pics and reading the info on the product, I believed it to be a plush duvet. However, it turned out to be thin. There are 2 layers of cloth without anything in between. I sleep hot and it turns out to be perfect for me. It's also very pretty!

It's a beautiful duvet, excellent quality, and really brightens up my room.

Oh, my goodness, this is beautiful! I thought that it might be a little too bold, brash or daring, but let me tell you, the colors are great! I love the way they fade into one another and the contrasting tree design gives it an interest that makes it pop! I don't think that I could like it much more than I do, it's that pretty!Quality: First, there was no smell. None. From what I can tell, it's an American made product. The quality of the fabric is very good. I have not washed it yet, but if I do and it fades, I will amend this review. It fit my comforter perfectly. But I'm thinking that over the summer I may just leave it empty of the comforter and use it on top of the sheets. It's a medium weight, certainly not heavy, so it will be perfect for warm weather like we have down here in the south.My pillowcases are made from the darker green color and look very nice with it. They are not shams, they are pillowcases. I put it over a white bed skirt and it pops! I try to write the most accurate, honest reviews that I can. Because I live so far out in the boonies, much of my shopping is done on Amazon. I'm a Prime member and can't imagine how I'd get along without it these days. I read and study the reviews before purchasing anything. I look for sellers with good reputations and products that have proved to be worth the money. I paid full price for this product and am happy to give you an honest, unbiased review and am happy to be able to give you my opinion, good or bad. I do hope it helps you make your decision. If I find later that this product is somehow defective, I will edit my review and tell you the truth because I often depend on the honesty of reviewers when making my purchases.

Beautiful fabric, but quilting is loose and bunches up after washing although it can be worked to even out the lumps. The sizing is too small. The "king" that I received was really a "queen", but it's usable with lots of exposure around barely covering the entire platform mattress.

This looks just as good as in the pictures! I was a bit worried that my duvet would be too big for it since they're not quite the same size, but once I tied the corners in with the inside ties and shook it out, it settled into place just fine. It appears well made and I haven't seen any issues with seams coming undone. I was surprised at how pleasant it feels, too. A lot of times polyester feels cheap and plasticky, but this actually feels like high-quality fabric. If I didn't know it was polyester, I'd have guessed it was a cotton blend. The shams look good too. They're from the gold part of the pattern but actually look fantastic in my bedroom. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Also, I have started making my bed every single morning, which is sort of a miracle. Oh, and despite a lot of play-wrestling on the bed, my cats' claws have not snagged the fabric. The cat hair doesn't collect on it the way it did my old comforter, too. I think this duvet cover is actually made of magic.

Cannot express in words how much I love this duvet set. Without nerdin' out too much, it is truly...magical. I'm not a granola or hippy dippy but this set is so calming. The colors are vibrantly saturated without looking manufactured and are EXACTLY as they appear in the photo. Just stunning. I've had it for about 3 months and I believe it's "Dry Clean Only", but I washed it (just the pillow cases and duvet, no other clothes with them) on the delicate cycle, warm water and dried it on Low for about 1hr and 30 min. NO WHAMMIES! The duvet and pillows are just as they were when I originally got them. No fading, no shrinkage and still soft. I have a queen size down comforter and based on another review, I purchased the king size duvet. Yes, it is larger than the comforter ( 5" on either side) but I don't mind this at all. Since I don't have a dust ruffle, it hangs perfectly over the sides of my bed, keeping the view underneath covered (girl's gotta keep SOME secrets hidden!). I'm particular about having my blankets lay flush with the head of the mattress so my duvet doesn't hang at the foot of the bed like the photo (it's about a foot away). To me this is very minor considering how happy I am. The purple pillow cases came with and I will definitely be purchasing the other two (I'm considering getting the sheets but that might set off a Stanley Kubrik acid trip...in a good way). Seriously though, no I don't work for the company, own stock, have family members there or am married to the CEO but for those looking, this set is of great quality, it's well made, soft (not "scratchy") out of the box and has yet to disappoint this Picky Penny. Worth all 5 Stars, two snaps and twist.
