Questionable quality
I ordered 2 of these and had problems with both. I mounted them on two different sets of wheels and couldn't figure out why the chain was skipping. It turns out the two rivet heads on the back of 7th gear are not flush or recessed and no washer/spacer is included to allow the cassette to mount flush to the hub. On one of the cassettes 4th gear was warped due to uneven pressure when the gears were riveted together. I am really left to wonder if these are genuine Shimano parts because I have never seen such low quality from Shimano.Went to my local bike shop and bought CS-HG50 and it addressed my skipping chain, warped gear problem. CS-HG 50 gears all are one piece and run all the way to the hub. CS-HG200 gears 5,6 and 7 are riveted to gear 4 which may be lighter but do not perform near as well as the CS-HG50.

New life for old Trek 930SHX
I just installed new chain however it was skipping and making odd noises on my original cassette, even though my old chain was only .5% stretched. Replacing with this new cassette solved all the issues after derailleur adjustment. All shifting is clean and crisp. Also, the extra 4 teeth on lowest gear really allows climbing any steep mountain bike trail. I have a 22-32-42 front chainring. The old bike feels brand new now!

No complaints.
I usually deal in freewheels, but I have an old Giant Boulder steel mountain bike which required a cassette. I wanted a few more teeth in low gear to climb a particular incline at a local quarry I like to ride around in; it always interrupted the ride and I never seemed to get conditioned enough to tackle it with the stock gearing. Problem solved, and while neither the Boulder nor I am suited to aggressive riding, the lower gearing allowed access to a larger area of said quarry.

Easy replacement part for skipping chain
Got this to replace my stock cassette for my Specialized Hardrock 29er when the chain started skipping really bad. Got a tool to remove the old cassette, used some paracord tied around the wheel and the old chain to break it loose, and popped this one on with a new chain. Haven't taken it on the trails yet, but put in six miles on a paved trail and it worked and shifted perfectly. I like the sleek black look compared to the scratched up stainless look of my old cassette.

Great upgrade if planning on tackling big hills.
Went on smoothly on new rear wheel with free wheel hub. Since my rear wheel had a 10 speed free wheel hub had to use a 4mm cassette spacer then had to put 2 notches on the spacer using a file so the spacer can sit flush on back of the largest cog because of the 2 rivets on back of the largest cog.

Great Cassette, highly recommend
Bought this to reduce my low gear when riding off road. This happened to be the largest low end sprocked I could fit on my 1x7 hybrid without changing a ton of other components. It is noticeably easier to ride on/through tough terrain now. Very happy with this product and highly recommend.

Great replacement cassette.
Upgraded my wife's bike to cassette wheel and needed new gears. Good gear set for the money. Shimano is always quality. Dropped right in on the wheel and was riding within minutes of opening the box.

Good replacement for my worn cassette.
This was a perfect replacement for my cassette that had been left on with an old chain too long. Same gearing and now my winter bike shifts and rides smoothly regardless of how hard I pedal.
