Great value but strong chemical odor
When trying to build it looked like it wouldn’t line up but you have to only partial screw each piece in and then go around to tighten each bolt. I am happy with the finish product however there is a strong chemical odor which I have yet to get rid of.

Value, value, value
I'll preface this by saying I paid for a damaged box warehouse deal. I paid $165, but it is WELL worth the $206 is was listed for. The description of the warehouse condition was dead on. So kudos to Amazon on that one. The entire setup comes in 1 box. A plus for convenience, but a bit of a con for the weight and avoiding scratching/damage. They did pack it fairly well with cardboard, Styrofoam, and foam sheets to avoid damage. The hardware is unbelievably simple. Between 3 tables I believe there were only 2 screw types, a short kind and a long kind. So that takes a lot of the complexity out of the hardware. A cheapo wrench is provided, but I ended up stripping it and needed my own. The table tops have a nice, thick look for being high end, but the undersides are hollowed a bit to knock out some of the weight. The wood is nice and brown without redness, which I am very happy with. The side tables are surprisingly large for circle tables. The finished product is extremely sturdy, yet still light enough that my children can move them where needed. It's a fine balance to make with furniture.Ok, so now we get to the part you're really looking for...assembly. I've put together a LOT of furniture alone. From beds to tables to bunks, you name it. But this was definitely a challenge. The legs pull against each other to keep the table from getting loose and wobbly. It's a great feature for all the rest of the time except assembly. The best thing you can do is only partially put the screws in until all are in, then tighten down each one. I learned this after doing each one tight one at a time on the first side table and it was about 20x harder this way. The coffee table was so rough that I ALMOST needed a second set of hands to keep the metal pulled into position while I added the screw. Alas, my second set of hands belonged to a 9 year old and it ended up easier to do on my own.The very last comment I'd make is that the drill holes for the bases were done incorrectly on all 3 tables of mine. Rather than drill opposite side of the table "feet", they drilled on the same side. This lead to all 3 tables having feet sticking up, rather than down to the floor. I have carpet, so it's not an issue so much, but if you have hard floor, the metal base WILL end up scratched when pulled around the room.So anyway, this set is a beautiful statement to any room and an absolute bargain.

Lasts well - Hard to build, cheap metals fasteners/Alan wrench
Please see below for the struggles of building the pieces. That being said... one together these things were *solid*. I used them to stand on many times weighing around 230-240 over a year. Always felt safe and they held well. The tension required to put them together does seem to do something to make them nice and sturdy while in use. The adjustable feet are a nice touch too, helps for uneven floors / if you have half on a rug and half off--- End of update ---This was the first “name brand” furniture I bought on Amazon. It was as easy to assemble as lego kit with half the pieces replaced by Lincoln logs. Seriously, “you shouldn’t have to force it” goes for putting together/building anything. The entire process was a grip strength (and patience) exercise. Thought I took more photos, but put together a lot of furniture lately, and over the last ten years (moved more than once a year. Always buy assembly required furniture. In last 4 days I’ve assembled 2 king beds, 4 night stands, table and chairs, couch, desk, desk chair, book shelf - nothing was difficult save these three little tables) and this was the worst build , ever, by far. The supports simply don’t line up, hand tightening to begin is too far, have to barely let the screw catch, and still a struggle. I had flying screws washers and support bars at one point. I rated sturdiness a 3 because well, the metal bends into place with enough force and I think it’s pretty solid now that’s it’s built. Still early for that. The 2 star deduction now is for the strength of (read: lack of) the screws and included tools - luckily I had another same sized Alan wrench from another kit I built, the included one was stripping itself inside the screws by the second of three pieces, then the other one (made a far superior alloy) was stripping the screws. Usually I’d suggest slowing down, but with the force NEEDED to be applied to the parts to get them lined up, there was constant pressure on the screws from half way in. All in all, unless you love the look of one of these GET THE OFF-BRAND ITEMS ON AMAZON INSTEAD - SAME QUALITY MATERIALS FOR MAIN PIECES, AND HIGHER QUALITY FASTENERS. Shout out to Zinus, Linon, and Modway for not sucking like this…

Very modern
This is a difficult review for me. I think it’s super cute and I love the way it looks. My husband was not even trying to put this together with me. We usually fight and putting things together cause I followed directions and he doesn’t. But it was easy to put together, but difficult at the same time, I will say it was a little stressful but I got it and on the sturdiness of it it’s very wobbly and my cat jump on it all the time and you cannot lean on like the edge of the coffee table because it will tip and my cats almost knock over, or do knock over the end tables all the time, when jumping on the edge. I still love it though and I think for its price it’s great.
