The lamp is beautiful. The stained glass really looks old. The colors are lighter when you add the bulb. It really is a good replica of an antique lamp. The price is great. It comes fully together packed in Styrofoam inside the box. Just plug it in and go. I have it on my desk on a shelf above my computer. It provides just the right amount of light. I would highly recommend this lamp.

Love this lamp. Nice and heavy. Looks so nice on my piano. I use a normal LED bulb in it so it doesn't get hot like other reviewers have said. In my picture it appears that the LED bulb only lights up one side, but it doesn't look hat way to me in reality. I never even noticed that before I took the photo. It's great quality too. I'll have this lamp for a very long time.

Some of the reviews were negative, so i took a chance. It's a good quality lamp for the price. The colors are very true to the picture, and the base is nice and heavy. It seems well-made. I can see why some reviews say the shade is plastic, but I think it's inexpensive glass.Overall, I'm pleased!

It's not a bad looking lamp, very attractive, substantial weight, although as other reviewers have pointed out, the colors are "off". For me, this is not an issue.However, what IS an issue for me is the lamp's light socket and position. After screwing in a standard 60 watt incandescent bulb I pulled the on/off chain. The lamp lit and it looks lovely and casts a good amount of light. HOWEVER, about 10 minutes later, I touched the top of the shade with my hand and burned my hand, it was THAT HOT.I unplugged the lamp to get a closer look at what was happening which would cause the shade to become so hot; as hot as the light bulb itself. When you raise the shade there is a substantial gap between the top of the bulb and the inside of the shade however, once you lower the shade it TOUCHES the top of the light bulb thereby heating up the shade to scorching temperatures. This lamp is a burn hazard unless you find a light bulb that fits a standard socket but is small or long and narrow. Caveat emptor.UPDATE: Using a low wattage compact fluorescent bulb I find that the shade is now VERY warm to the touch but is no longer a burn hazard.

This lamp is amazing and gorgeous! SO well made! What a treat to have this on my desk! It's beautiful with the light on or off. Here's a picture of it lit. Almost makes a person want to go to work. Almost.

This lamp arrived on time and was packed perfectly. The colors were exactly as shown. I was a little nervous since a few reviews said that the color was not as pictured but mine was exactly as pictured. .The height was just right for next to my lounge chair where I sit with my computer. I used a soft light cfl bulb 40 watt and its just right. Very pleased.

Packaging was great. As others mentioned , the color is off. My butterfly is a garish bright blue! The other colors on the lamp and pretty and subtle. But the deal breaker for me is the cord! It come through the top of the base which makes it loop up and is quite unsightly and sloppy .Some of the black sodering is uneven and broken but unless you really look closely I can live with it. Going to see if hubby can correct the cord issue. I would send it back but really dont want to pay for return shipping...has to be $$$$.

Only good thing about this lamp is that it arrived . It was packed broken into a styrofoam case. Not made well at all...cross piece was ripped out of it's hole and bent.. was not welded or even glued. Colors are very dull..not at all as pictured. The butterfly?? It is a decal! Not even glued on good...the shippers were waiting for me to come along and slip this lamp to me. I would recommend it to nobody..very disappointed. Sending it back.
