This state of Tenn. company (Sandusky) makes me proud to be an American. It's a very well made welded metal cabinet. It's plenty sturdy and yet not too heavy. The appearance is very good and certainly something you will not mind having in your home or anywhere else you need one. The painted finish is very good and looks professionally done. They come with a sufficient amount of shelves giving you the option of putting them where ever you want for different heights. Plus they come with a key locking handle for securing the contents and pulling open the doors. Which I was not aware of when I ordered the first ones but it made the purchase that much better. They are a bulky shipment so they take longer to get which I personally didn't mind. The companies packaging is very good and they shouldn't be damaged when you get them. My packaging was in very good condition on the outside. The first time I ordered three and all three were in excellent condition as was the last one I got. The shipping employees (two) who delivered the cabinets were polite and professional. Don't hesitate to order from this company if this is what your looking for. Just be patient for it's arrival.

The Sandusky Lee welded steel cabinet is amazing! I feel that the price is reasonable, it arrived in tact and on time. The only thing we needed to assemble was the shelves which we were able to customize to our needs thanks to the pre-drilled holes. We purchased the Sandusky Lee welded steel cabinet for our (dog room) As in home breeders we built a room specifically or our dogs to sleep in, be bathed in and groomed in aside from their in home play time and out door fun. This room is blue through out, so obviously when I spotted the blue Sandusky Lee welded steel cabinet I knew this was th one I wanted for storage in our dog room. It is now used to house grooming products, towels, dog food, grooming tools, treats, leashed, collars, bowls and so much more. I am very pleased with the amount of space I have saved since using the Sandusky Lee welded steel cabinet. The fact that it also looks amazing in the room is just another huge bonus. This is very well built, strong and offers a lot of space. I am very pleased and would highly recommend the Sandusky Lee welded steel cabinet.

Assembly is a nightmare it has a tabs system and not screws. The tabs come off when you stand it up after assembling it on the floor. We had to put tape over the tabs to get it to stay. Needless to say the material is so flimsy it came with multiple dents. it was almost impossible to get the doors onto the hinges as it was slightly bent and all three would not align. After 2 people battled for 3 hours we got it assembled and much to our dismay the two doors would not align.One had a slight gap on top. tried to adjust by sticking a piece of cardboard under the base to make it better aligned but to no avail. As a result of being misaligned have to kick the bottom each time I want to shut the right door.The shelves are steady and is holding up and the doors despite needing a kick are lockable. I would not recommend this to any one looking for a sturdy metal cabinet. I am keeping it as it is too much hassle to return and it is holding the stuff I intended to store without coming apart. Also unless I look very closely the misaligned door is not noticeable.It did not meet my quality expectation.

It's a nice cabinet - and the price is better than some others around for this item - now as to the damages, whose fault is it? Is it Amazon? Is it the company who originally packaged it? Is it the shipper? Or is it a combination of the above? The cabinet came with huge dents along the bottom in the back. The "foam" that was underneath it for protection was 2 strips a couple of inches wide on the outside edges - not the entire bottom, and it had shifted around to cover next to nothing. So dents. It came with a big dent in the front on the bottom edge. It has a series of large dents in the back at the top. And the material is substantial enough that we could not pound out the dents with a hammer. None of these impair its use = which is the only reason we kept it.It came by professional trucking co. They seemed to do fine in handling it while we watched anyway. They called to schedule a time, they were on time or even a little early; they took it to the room we wanted. They did not remove the wrappings, so the condition was a surprise we got after they left.But what happens when you find damage and they are still there? Do you hassle the guys who brought it - try to send it back. Wait and contact Amazon? Call Sandusky? Have to take it somewhere to return? So, we kept it. The dents are visible as it sets there, but we were not willing to go through the difficulties of trying for a replacement. We need the cabinet. So if you get one in good condition - it seems pretty good. Otherwise, it's hard to give a glowing report when you get less than perfection.
