Unfortunately, it also won't do the job it is meant to do on new (steel) metal that is 1mm thick! All I have managed to achieve with this is a slight imprint on the metal, really not what I was after, The punch is not much better either as it cannot make it all the way through the same 1mm metal. It is quicker to use an electric drill and "spotweld" a plate behind the existing part. Have not yet tried it on old metal, who knows it may surprise me but I really don't think this tool will even manage that. Would like a refund!
