Great For Choosing Your Pick Material
Wow! You never know you wanted something until you finally have it. Picked this up *pun* kind of not expecting anything special. The concept was nifty, and I have spent time in the past cutting+shaping guitar picks out of plastic in a moment of desperate need, so why not try this thing out?100% Satisfaction!! Would highly recommend to anyone even remotely interested in guitar playing. Pros:○ Never buy guitar picks again. It seems absurd to think about how I used to buy little packs of shaped plastic and celluloid, sometimes 20 bucks for these things, when there are free plastic sheets everywhere I look, and all I needed was a way to stamp it into the perfect shape! And off we go, happily punching our old grocery store keytags and credit cards into musical accessories.○ Control the exact thickness/ properties of your picks. This one is actually the biggest benefit imho. I love thin guitar picks with a certain feel to them, so the thick plastic stock included in the box(although beautiful) doesn't work for me. As soon as my kit arrived I went rooting through the entire apartment looking for raw materials to craft with. When all you have is a Pick-a-Palooza, everything looks like a guitar pick ;-) I found some things which worked ok, for example the thick plastic that many electronics or other home goods are packaged in, and certain gift cards which are thinner than credit cards. However, the greatest material for my ideal pick was the top of a disposable Tupperware container. I've included photos to demonstrate how closely the Tupperware is to my favorite Jim Dunlop thin/light picks. I have made a dozen of these little suckers now, and almost wish I was the kind of person that loses things easily so I would have a reason to make more.○ Item is sturdy as hell. VERY solid construction of heavy guage metal. I can only imagine you would break the device by dropping it from the third floor onto concrete, or perhaps opening a pick factory in your garage and making millions of picks in a year. Other than that, the Pick-a-Palooza is basically a family heirloom and will survive to become archaeological evidence of how our society really was.○ So fun. Reminds me of the first time our family bought a computer that came with a CD burner like 20 years ago. Before, I could only save money and purchase my favorite CDs at the local music shop. But once I controlled the means of production, I was no longer a slave to the system. Kind of feels like that, the first time you stamp out a guitar pick into your desk. I only wish the same method worked for actual guitars :DCons:○ Might not offset the cost of your baby plectrums if you don't lose them. I mean, I keep my picks tucked into the strings near the tuners, and I never set them down. I've lost maybe 3 picks in 3 years. That being said, a quick search of Amazon shows that a bag of quality picks will never be found at the dollar store, so it could be worth it over many years. Conclusion: GREAT gift idea, and a better and more useful tool than many that are lying around your house. So Much Fun!
This little device is smooth, simple to use, well built. If a 3-hole puncher and a stapler had a baby, this would be the result. It's fun to experiment with alternative materials as well (my credit card pick came out great!). The guitar-shaped emory-like board is cute but not particularly effective for sanding down the edges. The leather pick holder is top notch! Well worth the price!

This make your own guitar picks is a Christmas gift for my nephew. It looks very cool kind of like a button maker, but for guitar picks instead.

Awesome Gift for an artist musician
I’ve bought these multiple times as gifts for musicians and/or artists. Each time they were a very nice surprise, and put to substantialuse by people of all ages. Even kids love using this. It’s awesome that you can use it to make jewelry pieces. If you have a musician friend and don’t know what to get them, this makes for a great gift for any occasion that’s fun and relatively inexpensive. It’s very durable and easy to use, including my kids.

Excellent Customer Service
I ordered the Mega Gift Pack as a gift for my Grandson & he loved it. I realized after his birthday that the set should have included a key chain pick holder that was left out of the box. I contacted customer service at Pick-A-Palooza & received a quickresponse from T. J., apologizing for the oversight & promising to get the missing item on it's way the next day. Two days later I received a lovely package which, among a few extras, included the missing item. I am a happy camper & I'm sure my Grandson will be as well. Thank you TJ & thank you Pick-A-Palooza!Kathy Armistead

So far, so good.
Bought for my daughter at Christmas. She, as well as I, loved it! My personal fave was a gift card that we had laying around. It worked really well on that to make a pick and the blanks that came with it. We haven't used them all yet, just a few. It has a nice weight to it, and seems solid and sturdy. You do have to file the picks down, but that seems to do the job. I'm not sure how much she'll use it, but it's not a dust collector by any means. I am really happy with this purchase. Cheers

Hilarious-Fun Product
Want a lifetime supply of guitar picks, then this toy is for you! I love it.Solid build, well worth the money. Punches out picks with ease. 7 per strip to be exact. Punch one out, turn over the strip, line it up and repeat. The material they send you is very good. You can also use old Gift Cards, Credit Cards, Drivers Licence etc. they yield 4 or five picks if you are careful with how you punch them out. And ... they are FREE!Do you need a thousand picks? Well ... probably not, but for some reason, once you start you can’t stop. The only annoying part is sanding them smooth after but that is no big deal. The guitar shaped emery file is a nice touch.Never be without a pick again! ROTFL ... honest.Makes a great novelty gift. (I should be a poster boy for these guys! lol)I found all the material to be fine for my electric guitar. I may not be as fussy as others.I like it, you probably will too.
