Best cheese cutter I've owned
This is definitely a great product to purchase. Nice sharp wire. Cuts any cheese with ease. I've had multiple cheese cutters and this one performed better than all of the others I've had. Very easy to clean as well.

I order the whole block of cheese 🧀
I cut my own slices at home versus waiting in line at the store.

No extra wire, not standard length.
I like this cheese cutter, but the replacement process for wires is not good. They claim lifetime guarantee on wires, but you have to mail them the old one to get a new one. If you want a back-up so that you don't have to wait for the replacement, they charge you $2 for the wire (reasonable) and $7.50 shipping (not reasonable). So either you wait for the replacement or pay half the cost of the slicer for one wire. I would have gladly spent $2 more for this board with a spare wire. I will probably not buy this model again.

Slot doesn't even line up with the cutting wire.... how do you mess that up?
Just to be clear, it isn't the slot in the wood/metal that's off. It's the hole drilled in the side that holds the cable/cutter assembly. The hole is crooked so, the cable-cutter is crooked and doesn't line up with the cutting slot. It's also so close to the edge of the wood that if I tried to 'tweak' it over to line up it would just break the wood.I dunno why it's so hard to find a cheese cutter that isn't Chinese junk, Amazon just heading that way with everything I guess. I didn't even bother to return this junk, it'll just go the landfill. Funny how Greta doesn't protest cheap Chinese land-fill material eh?

It Was Good for a Year
We've had this for about a year now, and it's no longer being used. The arm is now bent and my attempts to straighten it have been futile, it just goes back to being bent with a few slices. Now, because the arm is bent, the wire is loose and does not cut all the way through a block of cheese. We have not been cutting any huge blocks of cheese, just the standard 1" thick stuff you can buy at the grocery store. We apply only the necessary amount of pressure to slice the cheese at a slow rate. At my house, a couple of blocks of cheese are purchased a week for sandwiches and salads and some days, this would get used twice. At $15, we got a lot of use out of it and I shouldn't be too mad. I guess I was looking for something to be of the same quality as our All-Clad cookware, lifetime. This looked to be the one cheese slicer to rule them all, with all kinds of people saying they've had one for years and years on their reviews... To be fair, no one said how often they used it. Sure, a couple of times a month use and I can see this thing lasting a long, long time. For us, it was short lived. We are now using a cheese knife, which cuts faster and is easier to clean.

LOVE IT!
I've had different cheese-cutting boards made of marble and wood before, but I love the stainless inlay on this. It cuts great, and the handle is nice. It is very easy to clean, but you will want to wipe the stainless dry after washing; otherwise, you'll see water spots left on it. Not a big deal but for us A types... well... you know.
