How many filters do you get for £23? that is twice the price the is on the sage website

Can an old style charcoal filters work in the new machines as well as this style?

yes they work if you use the old model holder, connection part is the same size, what is missing from new espresso machines is a metal strainer between carbon filter and machine

The filter has a dial of 12 numbers but it’s not clear which number should I set and based on what please help! Which number shall I set ?

It's just to remind you which month you put the filter in new, so you turn the dial to the month it's inserted, ie. month 9 if you are changing it now in September. I think Sage recommend you change the filter every 3 months, so you'd next change in December and set the dial on the new filter to month 12.
