Great for CB's
Exactly what I needed for my offroad application and using my CB radio antennas. Signal is strong and after I properly tuned, I get great range still. Best bang for your buck with still getting a quality product. I ran this on my 6ft antenna and while it is just a little flexy, it has been working great for weeks now on my daily driver/weekend warrior. A+ Product.

Holds up my 102 whip
Works amazing with a 102 whip. Perfect swr after grounding my mount to the frame instead of a plastic bumper. This spring is a very good balance between springy and stiff. Keeps my antenna from folding but when it hits something it allows it to move out the way. High speeds keeps the antenna attached, does fold a little but nothing C r a z y.

Good chrome
I use this for my off round safety flag.

Just right for Firestik antenna at under 70mph.
The stiffness is perfect until you get to about 65-70mph with a fiberglass antenna. Faster speeds will flex the spring more than I'd like, but I've never seen it get too crazy.

Better then my other one
I replaced the chrome one I have with this black one, looks cool! Other then that works the same as The chrome one does.

Ideal for my Needs
I Consider My CB System "A Labor of Love" as I've been "Developing It" for MANY Months. Multiple CBs, Different Antennas, Cables, Attachments, Enhancements, etc...Eventually, I now have Dual 9' Whip Antennas with "Coil Overs" (Stryker SR-2K - which I had to "Modify" to Install) - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S74X11G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and Subsequently - my Antennas are "Relatively Heavy", but... Extremely Effective for my Wants.I've Attempted Multiple Springs - from Multiple Sellers/Manufacturers - at Different "Stiffness" Levels. But I was always Dissatisfied with the Results. So, in my Quest for a Spring I could be Pleased With - I ran across this one - and it is Absolutely Perfect "for my Needs" as it is Extremely "Stout and Stiff", but... Please Note that I Specified "for my Needs".If you're Worried/Afraid about your Antenna Breaking and/or Being Damaged by Trees, Low Hangs, High Winds, etc... This is "Not" the Spring for you and I would Highly Recommend you get Springs that are Not as "Stiff" as these are not very "Forgiving" (to say the Least). But if you want a Spring that is Stout and Stiff - then this is the One I'd Highly Recommend.

Not really made for larger, heavy whips
Used this on my truck with my assortment of hamsticks for several amateur radio bands (6-80m). The shorter whips I have (6m is only 4 feet and the shark hamstick "juniors" are all around 3-4 feet) work well with this spring and don't move around too much even at speeds over 80mph, but the larger whips (Lakeview Hamsticks for 80-10m) are heavy and tall at around 5' for the fiberglass section and another 3-4' for the wire tuning whip and makes my truck look like its trolling for fish off the coast of Alaska!I used some monofilament and a suction cup to keep the antenna in place for road trips and that works just fine, but its not what I wanted to have to do. It is extremely hard to find a 3/8-24 heavy duty spring that's black to match the blackout stuff on my '22 2500hd truck. Might be time to just get a stainless extra heavy duty spring and paint it black once a year...

Nice Spring
This is a good spring and has a nice powder coated paint job. Looks good on my Jeep and matches my black antenna.

Not stiff
Looks great, but they are not stiff, antennas bounce all over, hope you don’t care about your paint

Spring gets soft quickly
I mounted this spring with a 4' Fiberglass antenna and the spring ended up becoming soft/stretched and will not support the antenna any longer....it just bend over now. This only lasted 2 months. Quite disappointing.
