Lightweight Tripod for Small Cameras and Smartphones
This Lightweight Mini Tripod from Amazon Basics was a life saver, I had bought this product back in November of 2017 and I am now in 2023, and I honestly think it's worth the money, or at least in my personal opinion. I have used this small yet durable tripod for years and it has not failed me at all. I did eventually buy a (SMARTPHONE HOLDING MECHANISM) (NOT INCLUDED) to screw onto the tripod, which you can buy separately. I have used this tripod to take pictures, either for social media or to promote my art on YouTube. I believe this tripod can be used in many ways, I have used it to record side views of my art process and also to use it on a daily basis to take still photos of nature and trips I've been on in the past. I also provided some photos included in this review to showcase the tripod in itself. Remember to pull on the rubber bumpers at the bottom of the tripod, trust me I thought it was a one height only mini tripod, but I was fooled, and I did not realize it had extending legs, so watch out for the unexpected height scare. Overall, I think this product is worth it, it is easy to use for timed photography or for social media projects/businesses. This is not a tall tripod, but it's a great alternative for anyone wanting to take pictures/videos for vlogging by setting the tripod on a table. Thank you all for reading. Happy Shopping! I hope I'll help you all with this honest review! ;)

Not for starlink mini
Sturdy little guy, however, unfortunately, telescopic legs won't hold the weight of starlink mini dish and collapse since they cannot be tightened in extended position. Just fine for a phone or something lightweight though

Lightweight and functional, but not very durable
English:I haven’t used this tripod much, but the small lever to tighten the screw broke easily after just a few uses, even without applying much force. While it’s lightweight and functional, the material quality could be better to ensure longer durability.

Functional and handy
Great little gadget for holding your phone for Zoom calls. Easy to use. Like the fact that the legs are adjustable. The tightening screw for the legs works well. It is lightweight and portable. The rubber tips keeps it in place once you place it down. For the size, it is sturdy. I would recommend the product. Great value for the money.

A great little tripod for my webcam
I decided to pick up this little tripod to go with the new webcam I just bought. My monitor is on a raised shelf, so my old webcam pointed down toward me at an angle. That often left me looking up at it above my glasses – and some people seemed to think this made me look creepy. Now I can put my tripod-mounted webcam on the shelf where my monitor sits and have it face me pretty much straight on. I was initially a little surprised at just how small this tripod is, but it has worked out perfectly for me. You don’t get any instructions in the box, but it isn’t too hard to figure out. You mount your camera to the screw on top, maneuver it to whatever angle you want, and then use the dumaflache on the side to tighten it up to hold that position. Once you extend the legs of the tripod, there’s no worry about the thing slipping or falling over. It’s definitely portable, as well – heck, I could carry this thing in my front pants pocket without any problem. You need a special clamp if you want to mount your smartphone on this thing, but I can mount my old Flip camera just as easily as I can my webcam. I’m very happy with this little tripod.

good enough for a set-and-forget setup that you don't have to manipulate too often
This seemed pretty decent for ten bucks. I'm using it to support a very small and lightweight handheld camcorder. At first when I got it out of the box I thought it was even smaller than it really is. The legs telescope out just like on a real tripod, although there is no special locking mechanism, just friction to hold them in the extended position.I didn't feel super secure about its stability, so I lashed it to another nearby object with a piece of string. It took me a while to figure out how to attach the camera securely to the mount. (1) Lock the ball joint by cranking down hard clockwise on the black semicircular handle. (2) Rotate the entire tripod to screw it into the camera. (3) Screw the silver wheel upward so that it locks in to the bottom surface of the camera with friction. (4) Unlock the ball joint, adjust the camera's orientation, and then lock it again.Pointing the camera is a very fidgety compared to a real tripod, but if you try a few times, eventually it's possible to get it pretty close.I would recommend this for an application like mine where you want to put a webcam in a certain position and then never mess with it again. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to frequently adjust where it's pointed, or if you need it to be stable against insults and vibration without being lashed to something else.
