Crochet Hatimals: Creatures with Features for All Ages! Paperback – April 30, 2013

Given as a gift, but believe recipient was happy with product. She crochets a lot for family and friends, and this is a great book for making adorable hats for children.

I have made the panda hat from this book and it's positively adorable! I am making new baby gift bags for our local female military veterans. I found a free pattern for booties and a diaper cover online that match up with the hat. I found a black and white paw print fleece material for a blanket to go with it! It is soooo cute! I can't wait to gift this! The directions in this book are clear, easy to follow, and has a variety of ideas to change the looks. This author has the best ideas! I am grateful she chose to share them.

made several already and the directions are easy to understand and they turn out very cute. My grand children have enjoyed them and wear them frequently this winter

I love when things are simple--This book is simple. My imagination can go from there. There's a basic hat, and then imagination after that. I'm looking forward to crocheting these patterns.(I should start now, while I sleep--I've got so many projects I want to make!) :)

Was a little disappointed with this, its the same pattern just different sizes.... could have crochet hat pattern myself and added different ears ect....... not a great book......

Bought this as a gift for my mother. The hats are absolutely adorable! Would definitely recommend if you know how to crochet and want some hats.

so easy, one basic pattern for the beanie then a variety of facial expressions to make it your own, the only downside is as it is an American pattern book care must be taken when choosing yarn, I used two strands of double knit to get the right tension for the toddler, child size. Otherwise a totally unique hat that gets comments everywhere we go, wolf made, dragon next.

The book is good and love the different hats but the hats are very small, so unless you are making for a new born you really need to add a lot of stitches to the basic hat first. my son is two years old and even the adult size in this book was no where near big enough.
