My set arrived with 2 "L"s and no "I," so I immediately ordered another set while processing the return. The new set arrived with all the letters, and the refund took 10 days (over Christmas and NY). The stamps themselves work great, have some weight to them, and seem quality-made. I'm using a nylon mauler. Make sure your leather is damp enough to take the impression.

This stamping set is awesome. The letters are large enough to stamp your name on belts etc. I believe they are 3/4 of an inch. Very nice lettering. Well made. I can see this is the last stamp set I will ever need to buy. Even though I have not used it as of yet I know I won't be disappointed. Worth every penny! Of course it is a Tandy product and they excel in quality.

Had to sharpen each stamp to get a good impression. The snaps don't fit real well in the handle. There's a lot more wobble than I expected. I understand some to make sure you can hit to get an impression on all sides, but this is a little much. They're cheap so I can't complain too horrible much.

I bought this with the making some 3 legged stools for the grand kids. The tools are easy to use and after a little practice work great! I have kids I take care of and they all enjoy stamping out their name on leather. I think they like the act of banging a hammer as much as they like seeing the beautiful results of it. I would recommend this product and I would suggest you also purchase the lower case letters to go with it.

Nice, solid construction. Give them multiple blows with the hammer and rock the stamp bottom to top for best results.
