QmarkRadiant Under Desk Heater 202SL

Purchased in Jan 2017. Have used it as an under desk heater all winter for 6 years and it still works great. Keeps legs and feet very warm. Safer to use than conventional heaters. No fan or noise. Maintains consistent heat and only uses as much electricity as an 100w light bulb. Toggle switch on side of unit can be turned on-off with your foot. Can purchase cheaper heater but this has been well worth the price.

I like this because my desk is up against an outside wall and it provides more heat than the other similar ones I have come across . The only problem is that it is just on or off, no thermostat. Since the switch is on the actual heater you would have to crawl under the desk to use it! The instructions say to only plug directly into the wall - not very practical. I have it in an extension cord with an on/off switch in it and poked it up through the cord hole in my desk.

Well made; very attractive; nice and thin fits anywhere no bulky stand or wheels. Hardly uses any electricity yet does a nice job making you feel warm because it is RADIANT not heating the air. We use it under a cold window next to our dining room table and it warms up our feet while we are eating even though it is two feet away from us. Perfect for not getting anything real hot, just cozy. And no worries about it overheating anything else around it. The radiant is great.

Seems like a good unit. There was no smell whatsoever. Seems solidly built. Perfect if your feet get a bit chilly but that's all I'd expect it to heat.

I like this product because it warms my legs under my desk, though it could be warmer and should have a thermostate. However, when the heater gets warm, it gives off an irritating smell, like that of paint when heated. I believe that smell gives me a headache. I would return this product for the problem of the smell. But it is too late to return it. I kept it thinking the smell would burn off, but it remains the same after a year.

Looks solid and appears to be well built, but has issues with the thermal limiting device that shuts the unit down. The high temperature limit operates erratically in a manner that has no pattern. Some days it will run all day, other days it will shut down within an hour. The unit is out in the open without any obstructions. It is operated by adults who happen to be electrical contractors. This unit is unreliable and will be returned after using for less then 30 days.Update. This heater was returned to the vendor and full credit was issued. We re-ordered the same product again in hopes that we simply received the odd ball defective unit. The replacement unit has been working without any of issues that were experienced with the first heater. At this time it is working beautifully, providing gentle warmth to the chilled feet and lower legs of staff members in an office setting.

I was looking for a space heater for my cold office. All of the space heaters I tried were so loud that I could barely hear anyone standing a little ways away from my desk. Also, the other heaters just blew hot air which caused my throat and nose to get really dry. This QMark heater is silent and it's toasty warm. People near my desk say that they can't feel it, but no need to warm them up! LOL! It's also very slim, so it fits right under my desk easily and doesn't take up any room.

I love this type of under-desk heater. It keeps my legs warm in the office and it doesn't make a sound. It has a toggle-style on/off switch that I can flip on and off with my foot. It also has a green light when it's on, so you don't forget that it is running. It warms up and radiates heat nicely, and doesn't get overly hot. Others in the office have rattling, noisy space heaters, but this style is really subtle and warm.
