Julian Bowen Luna Bed - Anthracite Painted Beds

Brilliant bunk beds eventually. The first ones that came were damaged. They come in three boxes. The slats in one, the sides etc in another and the headboards in the other one. One of the headboards had a big split down the wood. Easily sorted. Phoned and a replacement was sent out but the whole lot had to be sent back, which was a pain to get them all back in their boxes. I don’t know why you can’t just get a replacement for the damaged ones incase it happens again. Luckily though, the replacement was absolutely fine. The finished product is lovely, sturdy bunk beds. We had to buy separate mattresses but that wasn’t a problem.

We bought these bunk beds online as we had already seen them in a local shop and liked them because of the unusual colour, but were too expensive in the shop.When they arrived,it turned out that they were antique pine which was not mentioned in the bed description and the reason that we went for these beds apart from the price, was the fact that they did not seem to be the usual antique pine colour.I decided to keep them because of the expected hassle of trying to return them.Having said all that,the beds appear to be of a good quality and were fairly straight forward to put-up.

Very happy with the product. Put the bed together in approx 2.5hrs, by myself (except for the lifting of bed ;->), used a power drill to build the bed, even though it was not recommend for certain parths. No complaints and I would highly recommend to anyone. The wood is heavy and good quality and my children love it.

This is a sturdy bunk bed, it took two adults less than 3 hours to assemble. My son loves it and happily sleeps on the top bunk, as well as using the beds to play - it's great value for money.I'd recomend it!
