This is the best shoe dye I've ever used. .The instructions are easy to follow. I used nail varnish remover/acetone on cotton wool to go over the item first. . The doc boots took 2 coats of dye and the pink/beige slip on docs took 3 coats only due to its original colour. .once they were dry I then put a coat of good ol KIWI protect and shine on them. The end results is GREAT,especially on the shoes . Great to wear now for work or just smart!

Did just what I wanted, dyed the scuffs on my leather shoes that now look like new.

White golf shoes. Very hard to keep clean so decided to make black. Preparation is key. Wash with warm soapy water and nail brush to remove all previous whitening polish. Then wiped down with white spirit. Gentle soapy wash and brush again. Let dry overnight.Shake bottle vigorously. Very thin liquid. Use supplied brush carefully. This stuff will run into the stitching joins and into the welts. Use sparingly and carefully.Amazed at result in one coat. Let dry overnight and applied second coat to make double sure, stunned. Really good, perfect black, no white shine through.. So easy to use. The key is in preparation as this dye is not paint, it actually penetrates and dyes leather.Note. Also proved my golf shoes are not water proof.Good value, about 1/4 of bottle left after 2 coats. ( I never thought one bottle would be enough so purchased 2). I now have 1 bottle spare in cupboard.Tried a little damp rag and rub, it doesn't come off.If after a few rounds of golf this stuff comes off I will update this review. But for now I am very happy with results.

Just used this black leather dye on a pair of burgundy ankle boots and I must say I'm very impressed. I want sure it's have enough as it's quite a small bottle, but I've covered the boots and have spare left over for about retouches I may need. Simple to apply (comes we a wee brush) and gives excellent coverage. Very happy with this purchase.

I decided to give this product a 4/10 for pigmentation. The ink is great and even reverts some bleached black clothing back to black however the brush it comes in is far too small. If there was a bigger brush inside, then it would be 5/5

This product was great and below I will share my tutorial (of which I took inspo from another review on here) but know that there's several products you'll need to get to the end result. Before (pic 1) they were coral pink and after (pic 2) they are completely black! You can get about 4 coats out, maybe 5 but I was a little too liberal in some layers.So, you will need:This dyeAcetone/leather deglazerCotton padsTape (optional)Wax (I bought a beeswax one from Amazon)GlovesFoam sponge type applicators (the brush the dye comes with isn't great)Scotchgard leather waterproof spray.It's very easy really, clean the shoes with the acetone/leather deglaze/prepper thoroughly. When acetone is cleaned off and the shoe is dry, put the first coat on with the foam brush (it's going to look really patchy depending on the colour you're dying over but don't apply too much) then leave it for 24 hours. Continue applying and waiting 24 hours until you have reach your desired colour (I did 4 coats due to the shoes being pink before). Once the final coat is dry, spray the Scotchgard leather waterproof spray (following the instructions on the can) and wait until dry; this doesn't take more than a few hours but wait overnight if you're worried. Do 2 layers of the waterproof spray and then once fully dry, wax the shoes to get the shine.And you're done.

Arrived in good time and was easy to use, dye was a little bit thin so took about 5 applications to cover the original colour even after vigorous shaking of the bottle.

I used it to change the colour of a brown leather mobile phone case to black. I must say, that I am very pleased with the results. 1

Ich war erst Unsicher, zu dem Preis?Aber, ich wurde eines Besseren Belehrt!Lieferung erfolgte schnell und Problemlos.Kleines Fläschchen mit einfachem Pinsel.Das Mittel ist sehr ergiebig und sehr flüssig, wie Wasser.Mein Projekt, ein Sitzbankbezug aus Leder für eine Honda Monkey.Der Bezug besteht aus Leder, und der Rote Streifen s.1tes Bild war mir dann doch zu knallig. War erst am Überlegen ob ich den kompletten Bezug mache, habe mich dann aber entschieden, nur die Streifen zu färben.-Mein Fehler- 1te.Deckschicht s.1.Bild sah schon super aus! Dann den kompletten Streifen gemacht. Einen Tag trocknen lassen, obwohl es wirklich schnell abtrocknet.Dann 2te.Schicht, wieder einen Tag lang liegengelassen.Dann 3te Schicht.Nach kompletter Abtrocknung, habe ich mit Nagellack Entferner - Acetonfrei!- kleine Korrekturen, Übergang etc.mit Wattestäbchen die Farbe entfernt.Dann mit Lederreinigung/Pflege das ganze richtig einbalsamiert. Siehe 2tes Bild.Dies ist das Endergebnis, es färbt nichts ab, alles ist so wie gewollt, hat Hervorragend gedeckt!Bin wirklich sehr überrascht!Hervorragendes Zeug zu dem Preis, Danke!

Habe ein paar alte Bootsschuhe die ich liebe, sie jedoch schon entsprechend aussahen. Habe diese geputzt und als sie trocken waren, diese mit der Farbe eingefärbt. Sehen jetzt aus wie neu! Aber Achtung, bitte dringend Handschuhe tragen! (Hält auf den Fingern genauso gut wie auf den Lederschuhen…ist halt doch das gleiche Material 😉)

Ik heb een hond en die mag/gaat op de bank. En ondanks het vijlen van nagels, zie je dit terug in het leer van de bank. Bank is echt leer. Net alle slijtage plekken gepakt en de krassen. Bank ziet er weer als nieuw uit!
