Bought these to use wrapping large plants in the house with lights. It takes 3 AA batteries. We installed fresh Amazon brand AA batteries and used the timer so the lights weren't on unnecessarily and with the timer on they lasted four nights. On the fourth night they dimmed out and turned off so it wasn't even four full cycles with the timer. These aren't overly expensive however with the amount of batteries you would need to keep these on they're just too cost prohibitive.

I have purchase these in white, blue, and multi color. Having the remote trigger is cool and handy. My children love them in their rooms as well. Plus, they last long on batteries if you feel like having starry lights every night as well.Down side was the timer. I would've put them on max for 3 to 4 hours not six. Also, the multi color was not like the photo at all. There's no pink or purple. You get more of the holiday of green hue and red then to what a rainbow glow.

You really get what you pay for here! Comes with two different strings both with their own remote but you can use one remote for both and save one as back up like I did, I previously ordered one with usb and I love it butbwsnted the luxury of the remote and also to be able to adjust the brightness of the lights . They look so beautiful! Only downside is each of them require 3 double A batteries so you could potentially start spending more on batteries than you ever have but depends on usage. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED and will probably be purchasing even more lol highly recommended

These lights are pretty and functional but have a huge flaw. They only last a year. I use these all year round - I don’t turn them on every day - mostly on weekends. There is something wrong with the construction as they cause the batteries to degrade and leak. I only use top notch batteries so it’s not that. The leakage causes corrosion and then they don’t work at all. If you are only using these for seasonal times, I highly recommend storing after removing the batteries.It’s very disappointing as I purchased so many of these. I bought some of the other brands and they do exactly the same thing.I have some expensive Halloween ones I bought from a reputable website about 10 years ago that still work! My only issue is these don’t have the remote.The leakage I’ve described is occurring indoors - I don’t use outdoors.

The media could not be loaded.  I needed light weight lights for my hallween decorations, these were perfect! I purchased the purple and orange, you get 2 in each box. Comes with a remote for each one. Uses 3 double A batteries , the battery case has a snap close lid, that is super easy to open and close, seems to keep rain out. These are a good length too. I love the options on the remote and there's a button with info on the battery box to manually change settings. I'm so happy with this product. Highly recommend!!

Perfect. I needed them for a video shoot. Nice and bright and you can control the level. I didn't use the various flashing settings since I needed a steady brightness. There is a 120V version available but I preferred the battery version here, since it makes them very portable. Each string takes 3 AAs. Also we keep old batteries that are too weak for other devices to use in flashlights, so both sets are using up old batteries, and they lasted the whole shoot and are still going strong. Price is excellent.

Liked the lights, on the 1st string of lights, when I added batteries to the 2nd - only a few of the lights lit! See above picture!

First set I purchased was broken!!!! Second replacement set I received was perfect! I have mine high up in the air so the timer and remote works very well for me. I didn’t want to stand on my bed each and every time I wanted to turn them on and off so again the timer/remote was a big plus!I’ve wrapped mine around a piece of artwork and the soft purple glow at night looks amazing!!

Love the colour and the different lighting modes! The remote is very useful but it can also be operated by pressing the button on the battery pack. You would need to cycle through all the modes one by one to get to the one you want or to turn it off though. But good to have in case you forget the remote.
