What are the interior dimensions?

The interior dimensions are 5.4" H x 12.6" W x 9.2" D.

Why can you not store a firearm in this safe?

If your trying to protect a weapon during a fire/flood event, this safe will work. But if its safe storage from other humans (big and small), this is not that secured. Better to get a gun safe.

Can it be opened with a paperclip?

Was thinking of buying this but just seen a YT video from the LockPickingLawer showing how to open it quickly with a paperclip. I guess useful if you have forgotten the combination but means it's not as secure as you think.

May protect your valuables from fire but not theft.

The Sentry Safe CHW30300 is claimed to provide some protection from fire but this safe has a serious flaw, the password can be reset externally whilst the unit is locked with the aid of a bent paper clip, so if your forgetful person its handy but if your wish is to secure your valuables then not the best item to buy.Not recommended.
