Completely satisfied with the nightstand. Finish was flawless but slightly darker than the picture. Drawers consisted of solid wood and plywood that was thick enough to make them sturdy. It does come knocked down and has to be assembled but the directions were excellent and the illustrations are large. They are only in English so they are easier to read, you don't have to search among cluttered multi-languages.For those who have never assembled a knocked down item there is a slight learning curve so you will have to rely on the illustrations. On my piece there were two minor imperfection but they didn't require any alterations. I have one predrilled hole that was not misaligned but was drilled too deep but the cam, a round metal connector that drops in the hole, goes in too deep and must be aligned with the other hardware piece that connects to it. Once you realize the problem it a cinch to rectify it. The other flaw as a groove that was too shallow in one spot but the pieces still went together without have to alter the wood. The drawers were a perfect fit, and opened easily with the help of metal glides.I was apprehensive about buying this piece because of some complaints from others about assembly but my experience was excellent and I would recommend it highly. If you are a novice with this type of project I advise getting someone to help, but an expert is not necessary.I love the design and finish of the nightstand and it's not some item that you might have to throw away after 5 or 10 years. On nightstands most of the wear and tear is on the top with most damage coming from water rings and cigarette burns. It would have been nice if it came with a piece of glass. I had been looking for a nightstand for quite a while on Craig's list with no luck, most in used condition had damage to the top. I gave up looking and found this one on Amazon. I received it in less than 48 hours on regular free shipping and the packing was A+. Lastly, the price was much lower than anything I had found of comparable quality and style. I love the wicker weave on all three sides, they could have cut corners there and the bow front drawers give it an expensive and stylish look.

This looks just like the headboard. It’s nice, if a bit short. Seems sturdy enough. It’s never fun putting things together but it was easier than some. It looks nice and tropical and that’s what we are going for.

This item requires COMPLETE assembly, including installing the 1/4 turn lock receivers in the pre-drilled holes. (think Ikea and 1.5 hours. The 2nd one goes a little quicker of course). The hardware supplied to hold it together in my opinion is insufficient for the long term structural integrity. The screws supplied to hold the draws together go into center of the veneered plywood so be very careful not to strip if you use a drill/driver. I recommend final 2 turns by hand. I also highly recommend that you use wood glue or liquid nails on all joints. The hardware will hold it together well while the glue sets up so you should not have to clap it. With all this considered I still give it 4 stars. It's got some weight to it as it's sides, top and drawer fronts are solid mahogany so it doesn't move or tip when used. Looks and feels twice the price when finished and polished. Matches the headboard perfectly and in my opinion very nice quality for the money. . Very sturdy when glued

I was skeptical to buy due to the reviews noting problems with assembly. My husband had it assembled with no issues in less than an hour using a hand screwdriver. Each piece is nicely labeled with letters/numbers & instructions are easy to understand. The quality is outstanding. We have a bedroom set from Pier One; but they don't carry anymore nightstands (we wanted two- but they only had one). So this one is a good match. It was way cheaper & better quality than the one Pier One nightstand we do have. Very sturdy & built to last. I highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were surprised to discover a smaller than anticipated delivery box; however, once opened we discovered the best packaging ever! He watched T.V. as he leisurely put this night stand together, in about an hour or more. It is gorgeous! I may need to purchase shorter lamps, or try the wall lamps for reading instead of the tall lamps that we have, for a change. This nightstand is hand made, of WOOD, mahogany and REAL wicker! We are most pleased! We are still painting in the bedroom, so the additional night stand and matching headboard, separately purchased but together, are not completely assembled yet, so I can't comment on how everything looks together; however, should I have any issues, I will be sure to write again, but I don't anticipate any.

This is a BEAUTIFUL piece of furniture. My husband and I are both happy with it. If something goes awry, I will update this review. I believe the box stated that the nightstand was manufactured in Indonesia. It took hubby between 10 and 15 minutes to assemble it but do keep in mind that he's mechanical and has put things together on occasion for the last 30-plus years. You won't be disappointed with purchasing this.

Parts were missing and holes did not match up. Even with replacement parts I had to return this item as the replacement parts had holes that were too large for the camscrews and nuts resulting in a piece of furniture that did not meet my expectations.
