Vice quality and packaging, Look for the Instruction in the box.
Update....upon opening my 2nd box as I ordered more than one, I happen to find the instructions between the styrofoam and the cardboard side, so LOOK for that! .....I bery much like these pretty sturdy cabinets! After wrestling with all the little styrofoam pieces which did their duty to protect the corners, nothing damaged, I sat back, cried for a second, then got it done. Even a girl can do this! I did have to unscrew 1 side when I realized the middle shelf was upside down, but the fix was super fast, so look for that!Seems pretty durable...and pretty.

What's not to love?
After spending way too much time searching for an end table, I finally decided to order this item and I'm so glad I did! It arrived a day early and within an hour I was able to put it together. I love the way it looks next to my couch and the sea foam door is a very pretty color. You can't beat the price and the directions were so well-marked and easy to follow. You'll need a Philips head screwdriver but that's about it! It was also very well packaged.Highly recommend!

It's affordable, not too cheap looking and quite sturdy with light weight!
I had looked for bed side table for a long time. I want an afordable price, not too cheap-looking and sturdiness. If the bed side table can store some things without dust on it. It's even greater!(Who doesn't want more storage space?)I'm surprised that this side table is light weight but quite sturdy. And It's even cheaper than some of Ikea products!Of course the marble pattern looks a little bit fake, but it still looks much better than lots of cheap side table on amazon! If you are looking for a cheap side table but doesnt want it feels/looks too-cheap. Thid is the one for you.By the way , it can be assembled by one person if you know how to do it. But of course it's easier for two people. It took me about 50 munites to assemble two.

Good concept let down by poor quality control
At a little over $30 these may seem like a bargain. However the quality is below what you'd expect at even this low price. For less money (per cubic foot) the Foremost line of storage cubes here on Amazon is much better value and is much more versatile. Anyway, here's the good and the bad:The good:The back panels are solid hardboard rather than the usual cardboard. All boards except the thin back boards are laminated on both sides; this is uncommon at this price point. The advantage this offers is that you get some flexibility in configuring these cubes; door at the bottom, as shown; door at the top; stack them sideways, stack them as high as you want (though not without some drilling and dowels at the very least). The bad:The particle board is thinner than the usual fare and yet it is surprisingly stiff and unyielding. This would actually be a good thing if they did not have the tendency to outright snap when under stress, in fact two of these cubes (I ordered four) had cracked or snapped boards right out of the box.Quality control is terrible; other than the damaged boards (which, to be fair, probably occurred during shipping) there were several chips and scratches which were apparently just touched up with a permanent marker. The so-called "chrome" knob is made of plastic and the screw that mounts it to the door will chew its thread off if you are not careful.Half of the wood screws, used to hold the boards together, would not bite properly because they are too short or the pre-drilled holes too wide or just because it is particle board and you should not use regular would screws on particle board. Finally, fit and finish is disappointing also; edges are rough, sometimes uneven, and board alignment differed from box to box.

Looks like real wood; does the job!
I bought two in Cherry to go on top of two end tables; turned out to be a good height for a lamp. The directions are clear; just take your time and follow along with the diagrams. The door is a breeze to install. The back panel is the same type of material as the main cabinet, not cardboard, and it slides into pre-cut grooves, so the whole thing fits neatly. I wasn't in a hurry and didn't time myself, but I think it took between 30 and 45 minutes to put together by myself.I added some wood glue on the joints for added strength, and it seems sturdy with a heavy lamp, books on the shelf, with some odds and ends in the cubby. I didn't need anything fancy, just something that looked good and was sturdy, and these fit the bill! I'd recommend if you're looking for something basic, but not cheap that you'll have to throw away after a year.

Highly recommend
The instructions are a little hard to read, I think they try and take the Ikea Way for a second but then someone said add words. They give you a full image of what goes where, and each piece of board has a number, minus the two long pieces for the side. I got a little mixed up though it did not change much. I had to reassemble the stand after realizing I placed the middle board the wrong way.But all in all I highly recommend this night stand. It was very easy to use. You will need your own screwdriver, but that's it. It even comes with stickers to cover screw holes which I really liked. It's perfectly at the height of my bed and I even found a TV stand that matches the same Cherrywood color as the nightstand. I would highly recommend getting this.

Not bad for the price!
Easy enough to assemble, and they're sturdy. They look nice too.The only gripes I have is that the door hinges wobble so the door will sometimes snag on the bottom panel. Also one of the units I received was chipped and partially broken. This seems like a QC issue though.

Lots of space
I was really surprised at how much space this little thing has. It was easy to put together (there are no written instructions, only pictures) and quickly erected. It holds much more stuff than one would think it could. The knob would be the only con since it is plastic. Overall, I can say that I am pretty pleased with this purchase. I did reinforce everything with wood glue just to make sure that it can last a little longer.
