Are there 100 individually numbered cards in the deck? As in 100 cards numbered 1 through 100?

There is one card for each numbers 2-99. Two “1” cards and two “100” cards.

Is this just straight plagiarism of IDW’s product?

No, it is the same game. It's just that sometimes games change publishers. Or publish lose a license and a different publisher will pick it up.

Colors & designs on cards have nothing to do w/game play? Just decoration?

It does not. Every ten numbers has it's own design. But it's just for decoration.

Anyone play the face to face version? i have the game and the game quick & easy. i’m wondering if i would like the competitive version. thoughts?

Yes! My husband and I have played The Game and Quick and Easy....recently purchased Face to Face and it is as easy as it is hard. You have to play on each other's pile, we have yet to complete a game without doing so.
