Bought product to use with my subcompact tractor. "Must buy tractor hitch system to use. " Worked great after I dialed in the spread rate flap. High quality product

The only issue is that the motor seized up after 2 seasons.

Easy to assemble vehicle with rear mounted spare will need an extension for the hitch. No big deal

Used it 3 times and the motor no longer works. Always cleaned and emptied when finished and parked in a heated shop. Very disappointing.

the opening where the salt comes out is to small, if you fill the hopper and don't use it right away the salt hardens or clumps and does not fall through on to the spreader wheel, you have to take a stick and shove it into the Hopper and through the salt to get to the bottom to get salt flowing, I works but I expected better, do not fill the hopper with salt unless you intend to use all of it, I have been putting in only what I need and that is pretty hard to judge sometimes so you find yourself putting bags of salt in the back of the truck instead of filling the hopper up which in my mind the unit should work

Hard to adjust the salt flow, control cable is to short, 6.5' box with a super crew cab, the switch is behind the drivers seat, should be about 2' longer.Otherwise a great product.

Great and came overnight which was handy considering we had a snow storm.

I used this salter 2 times. In total maybe 35-45 minutes of use. The salter first of all did not like to spread the salt and second of all more importantly I went to try to use it for a third time and it did not work at all. There was power going to the motor but zero function. Would like someone to contact me because this is absolute garbage. Waste of money
