Although the table was delivered a few days after it was first promised, it didn't take a very long time, and was packaged so securely that it was quite a job to remove it safely from the double boxes with styrofoam padding. Little by little, I was able to remove it, only to find a perfectly finished console table with no flaws. Because of some of the previous reviews on this console table, I was a bit worried that mine would arrive with flaws as well. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the table I received had a perfect dark cherry finish all around, level hanging doors, is very study and stable, and was easy to assemble by screwing on the legs and lower shelf. The console table is beautiful, and just the right size for my entry hall. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I was a little hesitant about purchasing a piece of furniture online, especially after reading some of the reviews posted here, but I had already spent a lot of time looking at furniture stores for something in this shape and size and was unable to find anything. Since the dimensions of this piece were just what I was looking for, and the price was so reasonable compared to items carried by "real" furniture stores, I decided to take a chance and order. I am so happy with the result!The first table did arrive with a crack on the top back corner of the table surface, despite good packing that did not show any sign of damage. I did an exchange through Amazon--a VERY easy process--and UPS came to pick up the damaged table the next day. I received my replacement table a few days later and that one was in perfect condition.The table is SO easy to assemble. The top cupboard part comes in one piece. Just just pop off the plastic caps that cover the ends of the screws in the table legs, then screw the legs into the base of the cupboard, position the bottom shelf, and screw on the "feet." It took seconds, with no tools required.The result looks beautiful! The color and design blend very well with the much more expensive bedroom furniture that I have in the same room. I love that the cupboard provides a little storage space, while still giving the "see through" look of open legs. This was really a wonderful purchase!

We have been looking for a piece like this for some time and after dealing with the sticker shock at most local stores decided to try Amazon. The price on a piece like this that seemed to have much more detailing and functionality made us suspicious at first, but it matched our existing tables very well so we decided to try it. The typical Amazon shipping was super-fast and when the box arrived not only was it well packaged, the box was even reinforced around all the edges with additional rigid cardboard supports to protect the box from impacts (maybe the earlier reviews of shipping damage prompted this). Upon opening the piece was made of wood, if there is pressboard, I would be hard-pressed to find it, with no obvious staining or quality issues. Assembly took 5 minutes with a simple attachment of the legs (simply screw in) and bottom shelf (simply screw in the second small piece of the legs). Assembled the piece sat squarely with no wobble, and feels very sturdy. The doors are magnetically closed and they are not weak magnets! You have a surprisingly large storage area inside and the even the inside of this area is well stained. It now sits proudly in our home and has already gotten numerous compliments from folks who think we spent far more than we tell them for it. I am very impressed and will look for more pieces from this company! I don't think you will go wrong with this piece!

I was unsuccessfully hunting down a buffet/ server that would be less then 50 inches of this exact type for two months. They are impossible to get a hold off and my mind was set to get one. I finally decided not to get an antique, but to buy a new one so I wouldn't have to deal with figuring out delivery. I also didn't want to spend a fortune! I simply wanted some storage and a table. Who knew it would prove so difficult! I searched high and low, scoured the whole country for something that looked similar to this Coaster server.Luckily for me I found this cute server and decided to buy it. It was a bit of a struggle because I have never bought furniture online, but in Amazon we trust - Right?! It is quite difficult to find furniture that are not large; I blame McMansions! After I decided to take the leap, I researched its price from a few vendors and Amazon was the best! Delivery was no problem, it arrived promptly (2 days after purchase) in a rectangular box to my door by UPS, and it was a matter of unpacking... My Ikea days are long over so I was a bit worried about assembly but let me tell you - it is a no-brainer! :)The item was well secured in its box, all pieces intact, and I followed the simple instructions which are included. The top piece is already assembled, and it is a matter of screwing in the four legs into the top piece, and then unscrewing the bottom part of the leg (it is screwed together in the box) and putting in the lower shelf, and then finally screwing on the bottom part back again. Viola - you are done! :) I actually decided that I didn't care for the bottom shelf so much, so I left it out. Also, I didn't care for the plastic leg protectors on the very bottom so I took them out and put on some felt protectors I had around. This was just my personal preference.As a person who normally only goes for antiques of good quality and brand names (Drexel etc.), and know something about assembly, wood, and furniture making, I am satisfied with its quality because of what it cost. There were a few finishes flaws on the piece on the top, but they were minor. Also the leg pieces do not quite align to each other perfectly if you leave the bottom shelf out. It is not so noticeable, but thought I mention it. It is a manufactured piece and it did have that "new - furniture" smell of stain/ coating or whatever. The smell dissipated after 48 hours in the open. It is not solid wood, but I didn't expect it to be.Now - the clean up! It took me 10 minutes (tops) to assemble completely - took me an hour to clean up! The little white pieces of plastic were static and I was trying really hard for them not to spread all over as I prepared the box for recycling. I wish I would just had my vacuum cleaner handy from the beginning and it probably would have been less of a hassle. So knocking of a star for the clean-up, and the small flaws in the finish. Overall - nice looking piece, that doesn't clash with my other high-end pieces, for which I didn't pay an arm and a leg, and didn't have to haul from god knows where.
