A _wonderful_ book, especially the section on the how to and why of pruning.
I have 80+ young fruit trees and this book has a wonderful section on the "how to" and "why" of pruning. It clearly explains the cause and effect of specific cuts and shows good pictures of the cut.

This is a beautiful book with so much information. Written by a true gem of the organic growing world and beautifully illustrated by the talented Stephanie Martin. This book will bring you and your garden joy. Grow on!

Care for your fruit trees with Orin
After watching a lot of Orin's video series through UC Santa Cruz, I knew I needed to get this book. So much great information in here, our trees are so much happier now. Thank you!

Pretty much covers it all.
As an organic gardener who just bought quite a bit of land, I got this to plan out my fruit trees. It covers all the bases, the illustrations are spot on and it has information in spades. Highly recommended.

A must read for fruit tree growers!
Fantastic read cover to cover with everything you need to get started (and more!) with fruit trees. Orin is a great writer, a wealth of knowledge, and has a good humor. Honestly this was the first reference book I read from start to finish. Also the art is wonderful.
