They arrived alive!
I ordered 10 red cherry shrimp and they were shipped to me in Hawaii. I took a risk, I was hoping at least some would survive, to my surprise they all lived! I received 1 extra- a total of 11 red cherry shrimp although the one extra! The color was a little brownish when they first arrived due to the stress of shipping but they brightened up once acclimated and I can confirm they are grade A and they are hardy and thriving! It’s been about a month since I got them and 2 are pregnant!!! I’m so happy!

Questionable Breeder See details
I wanted to wait two months to post my review.I have owned shrimp for over 5 years now and never had an issue until recently. To begin with the shrimp arrived fast however one arrived dead on arrival 9/10. It was escaping from the inner bag.I acclimated the shrimp for about 7 hours due to the extreme difference in water temperature and water paremeters. I used a direct drip method from my tank to the smaller holding container where i set the shrimp during arrival.A second shrimp died a few hours during acclimation 8/10About 2 weeks later 2 more shrimp died 6/10. The noticeable thing about these 3 shrimp is that they had a parasite called Vorticella (this was noted as white fuzz around their heads). This means that the breeder probably did not keep the best water parameters, probably did not clean water, or vacuum the gravel properly. The tank where i had placed them had already been cycled for 2 years and there were other tank mates such as Amano shrimp and mystery snails. In those two years not once did i have a parasite not even planaria. Unfortunately these two shrimp did not survive long enough to be quarantined. I was able to quarantine the 3rd one and treated it with aquarium salt. However a few weeks later it died 5/10.This left 5 remaining shrimp 3 females and 2 males. The shrimp seem to be happy and they are berried and i can already see that there are baby shrimp in the tank. This means the water parameters I have are appropriate and they seem to be content.Keep in mind this is 50/50 batch and there were a lot of red flags since the moment the shrimp arrived. Its always a deep sorrow when these creatures pass away and i did my best to help them. I hope that this review serves as a sincere observation about purchasing from this vendor and that you can make an educated decision.I can safely say i will 100% NOT be buying shrimp from this vendor again.

Six days for priority mail
Not the sellers fault, but it took 6 days for USPS to update from the starting distribution center. One of ten dies and was cannibalized. Most of the tail was gone.Smelled awful likely due to how long it took and the rotting shrimp.Only temperature acclimated them as most reviews have said so.Color was deep red. Size was near maturity. One of them had a stripe along the back. Seller left a green mesh in there, but luckily does not appear to have affected them adversely.

Vibrant, active, happy shrimps! (for the most part)
Packaging was great and arrived much faster than anticipated. There were 10 RCS in the bag, though based on scattered shells/legs there were probably a few more, but they probably died and were taken care of by the others during transit.Shrimps were very active upon opening the package. They scattered everywhere once light reached them and I was happy to see 9/10 of them were bright red, with one being slightly a dark/faded red, probably due to stress from transit. Not a big deal.Got them drip acclimated and added to my tank. Highly recommend this seller.Update: Day 3 of having added them to my tank, the one discolored shrimp has died unfortunately. Not a knock on the seller, just how shrimps are sometimes, even the healthiest shrimps can randomly die in proper water parameters. After about two weeks, I've had a total of 3 shrimps that died out of the 10. That's okay, there was an algae bloom due to the heatwave that threw the water parameters off so I'll take the blame on this one.Update 2: I upgraded my tank to a larger tank so I bought another 10 from the same seller. This time I received 11, with one shrimp carcass that was torn up, so I assume there was 12 in the bag. Of the 11 remaining, 3 were discolored (brownish red) and one was missing an eye. 7 out of 11 look healthy and are acclimating now. This second batch looks slightly lower quality than the first batch and less healthy, but I'll leave my 5 star review and see how they acclimate.
