Q: What are the flow directions? i need straight through and l. l flow in both positions will not work for my application. thank you

This is a 'T-Port' 3-way valve. That means the ball has 'T' shaped passages (as opposed to an 'L-Port'). The stop tabs on the handle allow for a 90-degree turn (two positions). With valve positioned so that the center port is facing down, when the handle is to the right, the flow will be straight through; when the handle is down, the flow will be between center and right ports. But that's not all. You can remove the handle (or bend the stop tabs up) and rotate the ball 360-degrees (all four positions rather than just two). This gives you left-center, right-center, left-right (straight through) and flow through all ports (left, right, center). Look at https://pipingnow.com/product_images/uploaded_images/3-4-way-flow-patterns.jpg where this valve is configured for Flow Plan 3. If this does not allow URLs, then Google on 'T-port 3-way valve' and look at the various flow images. The flow pattern for this valve is based on the one that I purchased (I am assuming it hasn't changed).

Q: Can i use copper pipe? Is this a full flow 3/4" valve?

Yes, you can use copper. The Push to Connect fittings on this valve are the same as SharkBite fittings and can be used with the same materials (pex, copper, cpvc, etc). Not sure what "full flow" means, but it is a ball valve and you can look straight through - no obstructions.

Q: Does the apollo 3-way ball valve (fsbbv334) fit 3/4" pex?

I ordered the NPT one, but if you're asking about the one in the picture, then yes, it should fit pex pipeline.

Q: can this be used on vinyl tubing?

Yes, if the vinyl tubing is the correct size. There is an insert that supports the tubing from being crushed built into the valve ( the white part seen in the picture).
