I wanted a simple planner to help me track my classes at two colleges as well as my weekly personal appointments. This one fits the bill perfectly, without bloating the page with features I don't need in a planner, such as space to record major life goals, develop my personal relationships, or track my exercise. I use the top horizontal set of blocks for personal appointments/errands and four of the lower sets of horizontal blocks for my classes. True, there are small areas for "this week's goals" and "don't forget" but those are perfect for tasks not tied to a specific date, such as "get oil changed." I like the bright color because I can find it easily on my desk. And it offers a feature that is a deal-breaker for me: I want lined blocks. Sure, there are some information pages at the front I don't need but frankly, I just use a bulldog clip so I can get flip easily to the current week, so the extra pages aren't a bother.I'm done with $30 academic planners - this is all I need. Like many academic planners, the weekly pages don't cover July, but I won't be teaching that month, so the monthly view of July should be sufficient.

I bought this planner for my son to use in middle school both this year and last year. He is in the 8th grade this year. His pro and con lists:Pro - layout. He likes having the days drop down the length of the page. He can write in his homework assignments by class period this way. It's easier to see how the day and thus the week shape up at at glance. The planners that have the day squashed - only allow to write one line for each assignment, and you cant see the whole week easily.Con: The planner really needs to be three hole punched. This way it can be secured into his binder. Less dropping, less chance of it slipping out as you walk down the crowded halls of school.I will buy this planner again next year for both my son entering high school, and daughter entering middle school. Unless someone produces the same style planner with a three hole punch

This is a nice planner but it's small. The product listing does state the size, but I didn't notice it. It's not exactly hidden, so that's my fault. I checked out all the features, but in many years of buying student planners I have never come across one with all these features that was this small. It has the features I like (dates already printed, subject areas left blank for the student to fill in, organized into sections by day and subject so it's easy to write in assignments, some note/reminder space, reference pages) but I wouldn't buy it again because it's so small. Those inches make a difference.

I really like this planner. It is chock-full of information and is just the right size. Anyone would find it useful, not just students. It is perfect in every way but one.You should really add July!There, students could continue honing their organizational expertise while documenting their summer activities and their summer reading list. Which, I think, would be so helpful when they had to do that first English Comp. assignment; "How I Spent My Summer Vacation".

Didn't think I would have much to say about a planner, but it is a well made planner- perfect size without adding bulk. Cover is very durable and can take a beating in a backpack. Usually by now the planner the kids get from school are starting to fall apart, binding comes unraveled or pages start to rip. Not this one-pages are quality- not cheap paper, binding is strong and can hold up to constant use. Bought this for HS son and wants to get same kind for next school year. You can customize your subject areas, plenty of space for assignments, notes etc. Typically I found the reference pages that are put in planners somewhat useless. I am impressed with some of the pages that are in this planner. The Periodic Table of Elements has come in handy for my son in chemistry class. There are tips to help with studying and a page on internet safety. Price is right, cost less than the ones they can buy at school. Would highly recommend and will be purchasing again next school year for both my kids.

After a 2 year battle with breast cancer I am in remission, but with the good does come the bad. I am suffering from what doctors call "chemo fog" or am terribly memory or ability to judge times or places, I am taking Alzheimer's medication to help. Normally I carry a notebook around but my son looked this up An said " this is just what you need" an omg was he right. Not only did it arrive in 2 days but on a Sunday to boot. I have this with me 24/7 An what a Godsend. Any phone calls or appointments I am able to write it all down An by the way my son who used these is school showed me all the awesome great information you include in the front, so many things since I was in school, an we had such a great time reading An using all of them. Every parent should buy their child this notebook, I am very happy I had bought them for my four children, an they actually paid it forward to me. Thx

This was purchased for my son and he loves it. I bought another for him at the beginning of this school year but he was not happy with it. He really likes this one, the lay out , the formatting, the reference area. He is happy so I am too. Great product, quick delivery, am looking forward to buying another one from here for next school year from here.

My 11 y/o uses this planner to help himself keep track of his homeschool assignments. I chose this one after looking at several for the ability to write in the subject titles on the left margin.
