Yes, metallic thread is difficult with which to sew. Worth it for the right project. I used it for hand sewing. COLORS are beautiful. Do recommend.

I was pleased to find beautiful colors to add that sparkle to my work. This was much cheaper than buying the metallic package at Hobby Lobby and was a much better assortment. I would buy again :)

I had bought this mainly for the colors shown, one in particular which I didn’t receive at all. Instead, it was replaced with a purple color. There were several colors which seem to be missing- the darker green and lighter blue. I did receive 12 skeins as promised and each is is own separate color, it’s just not what was shown in the photo. Since I ordered this mainly for a specific color in the photo, I’ve given 3 stars.The product it self seems ok, though I did notice it may be difficult to embroider with. I think that’s the nature of the metallic threads within, so I’m not really surprised about that, but something to note for others who may think working with this product will be like other embroidery thread. These threads don’t stick together very well and will most likely fray out.I’m keeping them despite the missing colors, but I am quite disappointed and feel mislead.

Beautiful colors but the gold is more like a brass, I was hoping it would be more of a brighter gold. I used it for details on my plastic canvas projects

High Metallic Content; Very pretty!! I used this product for making keychains. It was just a little time-consuming due to the coarseness of working with two strands at once; Very nice product!Included in photos is my very own, personal, finished product!

I was making some felt Christmas ornaments and needed some metallic thread because, hey, pretty and glittery things look nice on the tree and reflect the lights. I didn’t need much, but had so much fun doing it that I wanted to get enough for next year as well. I’m personally not a good judge of quality of threads, but for the money you can’t go wrong.

I'm excited to try this metallic embroidery floss as an accent in my friendship bracelets. I wouldn't make a whole bracelet out of this type of floss alone because it would be somewhat itchy to wear. Otherwise, the colors are very vibrant and pretty. The pictures in the listing don't do the colors justice.
