Great for what I needed
Using in a security camera HP PC. Took the load off the CPU and built in HDMI port on the motherboard. Easy to install and worked with standard Windows 10 drivers right out of the box. I did install the latest Nvidia driver though.

Dated for gaming, but PERFECT for a HTPC system!
I'm currently using this card for my Home Theater PC (HTPC) build.Case: Antec ISK 310-150 with 150w PSMB: MSI AM1I Socket AM1APU: AMD Athlon 5150RAM: Generic DDR3-1600 8gb (2x4gb)Storage: Mushkin Reactor 2.5" 1tb SSDOS: Windows 10 ProI was relying on the integrated APU graphics, but the system became slow when it was updated from Windows 7. I installed this card and noticed a instant increase in responsiveness and processes. My system now easily downloads plays 1080p streaming without the massive lag and buffering it was suffering from.Price wise, it was an economical choice over the competitors. 4gb vs 1~2gb for same or more price, even though I will most likely never use it in full capacity, it should be sufficient for half a decade or more for my uses. For gaming, I would recommend at least a G(R)TX (X)050 [or comparable Radeon] series, as those cards have:a) better coolingb) handle newer games more efficientlyThe "GT" series were designed for "media" applications such as video playback and flash/web based games (Facebook for example), while the "(X)TX" series are for gaming in mind. This card does very well with the former, hence HTPC build.

Works as-needed
I put it in a computer I was building and worked just as intended for an older computer just to bring it back to life.

Positive Upgrade for an HP 8300
Yes, I've read the negative reviews and I've watched the scathing videos on YouTube. But being an old fart means I'm stuck in the past and perfectly happy with with my 70's music and 20 year old computer games. I have a refurbished HP 8300 with integrated graphics. I hated it because I couldn't play my MS Flight Simulator X nor my Trainz 2012 Simulator. So I bought this $85 graphics card with 4 gigs of memory. Anything was better than what I had. I was completely prepared to be disappointed and return it after watching all of the negative videos, but surprise! It made my old simulators playable again and on high settings. There was a little tearing in Trainz but still it was much better than what it had been. And MSFSX? I flew Hawaii on high detail and crashed the plane into a mountain because I was gawking at all the beautiful scenery I had been missing up to now.Just saying--this was one of the better $85 purchases I have made. No regrets.

Great for discrete graphics for PS2021 update
My wife's Acer Aspire TC-895 had been running the most recent versions of Photoshop without issue, until the most recent (June 2021) upgrade; everything would work fine, but if she tried to use Liquefy, it crashed the program. Adobe support was able to look at her system info and determined that she needed a discrete graphics card with at least 2GB RAM in order to run the latest update.I agonized for days about which card to get, especially with the insane prices given the semiconductor shortage. I finally settled on this one, given the balance between price and features. Yes, it only has DDR3 RAM, but it has 4GB. Yes, it only has passive cooling, but the max wattage is relatively low and the case on this computer has tons of airspace and a large vent down by the PCIe slots. Yes, it only has 3 ports (1 each for RGB, HDMI, and DVI), but she only runs a single monitor setup.I can happily report that with this card, the latest version of Photoshop (22.4.2) now runs well, no glitches, no crashes. If you're a non-gamer, intermediate user who mostly does Photoshop work for your photography business, this is a perfectly cromulent graphics card.

The card is outdated and does not have a VGA port
I purchased this card for an advanced workstation that has a professional NVIDIA card. The setup was to use this cheap GT 730 card as a display adapter and A5000 card for CUDA computing. This 730 card has two major shortcomings for my application: it requires an older driver (v.470) while the current A5000 card use v515+ driver. As only one NVIDIA driver can be active, these cards cannot work in the same computer. Another, more universal issue with the 730 card is that this card has a CRT, not VGA 15-pin port (check the pictures, it is orange, not blue). My monitor complained that there is no VGA signal and went into the sleep mode. Apparently one of the VGA signals is missing. I had to return the card and bought a 1030 card which is current and works well in my workstation with the newer drivers. If you need a single inexpensive card and you can use a DVI or HDMI cable to connect to the monitor, it might be OK for you. I gave it three stars only for my application, as I could use it but only with outdated drivers. For your application, it could be perfect.

Missing and damaged parts
This "used, like new" product was missing parts (low profile brackets) and had a damaged driver CD.
