I’m always concerned about the quality when buying an after market product. I’m more concerned after seeing the work it took to change it. So far this seems to be well built and working correctly. It does ‘sound’ a little different when locking/unlocking but not sure if it’s just in my head or it’s because the old one was failing.So far no regrets.

I found at a car supplier store this item at 300 plus, and here is the same a lot cheaper. Also worked like a charm, saved myself a bundle.

It works good but I didn't know that it didn't have the child safety switch on it, that bummed me out but for now it's fine. All my doors lock now and I'll deal with that at a later date.

This replacement was an exact fit and works as well as the original. There are lots of YouTube videos that made installation very easy! It sure beat BMW charging me $500 for the part and $165/hr for labor!

Excellent quality and perfect fit!

I bought this unit based on a how-to DIYer's recommendation to save some money. Big mistake! This unit lasted only for about one year. I usually buy OEM even though they're more expensive, so I found an OEM BMW latch on a popular Bimmer website. It's about twice the price of this aftermarket unit, but the time and effort to replace it is well worth the extra investment, not to mention the added reliability! Now, after many years of fixing and maintaining my family's cars, I only buy OEM parts. There're worth it!

My my was not locking anymore. Now it’s working great. I recommend this product.
