Sally HansenExtra Strength Creme Bleach, Complete Kit (Package May Vary)

I was always happy with the final result of using the Sally Hansen old hair bleach formula, which is why I kept coming back to that product over the last 15 years. But the overall experience of mixing the dry powder with the cream bleach and applying it to my arms always felt like an undertaking and it took about 35 min from start to finish. It was messy, the mixed substance was drying, caking, and flaking while drying and falling off the skin, I had to be careful not to smudge it, I had to use the plastic applicator to smoothen the substance on the skin so it continued to cover all the hair while waiting for it to bleach. I used to buy this product at Walgreens, but couldn't find it there lately.This was the first time I ordered it online. I was very surprised when I received the package because the box looked differently and so were the contents. Instead of the 2 bottles (pre-application conditioner and activator) and the hair bleach tube, there were 2 tubes - one with hair bleach cream and one with activator; there was a new plastic applicator and a rectangular mixing container. Today, I tried the product, and I was so happy with the new formula, I decided to write a review. I washed my arms before applying the mixture. Mixing the 2 ingredients from both tubes was easy. The resulting mixture was nothing like the old one - it had a consistency of regular hair color cream. The new spatula was absolutely incredible - because of its large size, it allowed me to apply the mixture on both arms in less than 2 minutes. The mix was distributed evenly, covered all the hairs well and stayed in the same condition until I washed it off. No caking, no flaking, no need to smoothen it, no mess! The smell is very pleasant. The final result was as good as the old mix, but without all the negative experience. I was done in 15 minutes. Very happy with this new formula, I wish they came up with it sooner, will definitely continue using it.

This is the only brand we buy and we buy a lot. Once you mix it you have a lot of bleaching product, so I always ask all the people concerned to use it at the same time so that we do not waste it. We tend to waste a lot because we do not really figure out how much to mix at the beginning of the process.

Worked well! I used for 8 minutes on my mustache and the hairs went from black and are now golden blonde.Theres is a little redness irritation on my skin as expected with bleach, and it subsided quickly with a cold compress. I bought the two pack but realized just a pea size is needed and one box will prob last me a year.

As a pale girl with dark arm hair, I can’t believe I didn’t try this stuff sooner. It worked really well and made me feel so much more confident wearing tank tops and short sleeves. Didn’t burn or irritate my skin at all, but I did notice it bleached my skin some. This faded after a day or so, however to prevent this, I’d still recommend making sure you apply evenly - especially around the edges because that’s where you’ll see bleach lines. I’d also recommend doing this in the shower or over a sink. As the bleach dries, it begins to crumble with every little move you make so you’ll end up with a mess all over if you’re not careful. Girls make sure you tie your hair back!!The bleach solution was relatively easy to mix up, but I found the measuring to be a little annoying. It would be super helpful if they made this in pre-measured packs to make the setup process a little quicker.The process to do both arms (mixing up the solution, applying and waiting, washing it off) takes me about 40 mins total. The results last for about a week or two before you start to see black roots as the hair grows back.

I used this on my little mustache. It took around 5 minutes to lighten my mustache probably because it was my first time ever doing it. I am a woman of color and now my hairs are colorless. I was a little scare about using it so close to my nose so I covered my nose a little .

I use this on my face and it's really great! Tingles a little but no burning and VERY simple application and setup. Would recommend to those with thicker facial hair.

Wish I could give this 10 stars. I love this product, and always get sad when I run out.

I did like the product, it definitely lightened my hairs however I had to do two sessions and it still didn’t lighten as much as I wanted it to. In the instructions it says to leave it on for 10 minutes, I left it on for 15 the first time and 10 the second time, maybe it’s my hairs being stubborn but I’m not sure, I followed the mixing instructions correctly. So for any of my dark hair latinas out there, keep this in mind!
