I do love that they come up to my elbows so I ...
These worked really well in helping me chop back my raspberry plant, only one thorn prick made it through the gloves. They fit well and aren't uncomfortable, I do love that they come up to my elbows so I can reach into the plant without harm. However, I was pretty annoyed that they put a industrial staple right through the gloves.

run a bit small, but they are nice gloves!
These are wonderful! They do seem to run a tad bit small so be careful on the size that you order. I happened to have ordered the Medium because they wanted $12 more for the small - I wasn't going to pay almost double for a smaller size, so I went with the mediums. I'm glad that I did because the mediums fit nicely where I usually wear a small.

The fit of these gloves is terrible ... unuseable.
These gloves seemed ideal to protect my wrist and arms while pruning holly bushes and weeding around other prickly plants. I ordered Medium, which I use in all latex, winter and gardening gloves. Tried on these gloves and thumb was two times longer than needed and the finger lengths were too short! DO NOT PURCHASE THESE GLOVES.

High quality and well thought-out design, but size does run small
This is a very well-thought-out designed glove. The Gauntlet has a slight curve to the under forearm area. This makes for a very comfortable and smooth fit. My dislike however is that the size small is actually a bit too small for me and my fingers go numb if I have them on for too long. Kind of a bummer but I will keep using these gloves because they are so good. So just beware that the size runs small next time I will be sure to order medium which is usually too large for my small hands.

Nice, size up
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Very nice gloves. I look forward to using them today. I purchased 2 pairs small and medium (for 2 people) they run a bit small , I suggest sizing up.

The best garden gloves ever!
This is the second pair I've bought. The first pair, the middle right hand fingertip came unstitched. I have several rose bushes and wild blackberry vines to tend to, and these gloves are sturdy, protect my arms to my elbows and protect my hands from scratches, dirt and more. I wear them every time I am in the yard, mowing, weeding, trimming, pruning, planting, etc. I wouldn't be without them.

Back of glove is mesh, thorns go through!!
The gloves are nice , but insufficient for cutting back a bougainvillea! The back of the hand color part is mesh!!!This isn’t “thorn proof” . This type of plant rips you apart. A fully protected glove is needed. I returned for a complete leather glove .

I bought mine to protect my arms from poison ivy
I bought these gloves because my yard backs up into a wooded area, and I always pulling out poison ivy and poison oak. Of course, I always wear gloves, but sometimes the vine would snap back and slap my arm just above the area where the glove ended. Yes, I could wear long sleeves, but I live in the south and it gets HOT! Anyway, I wanted to find some garden gloves that extended up to be elbows for extra protection. These gloves fit the bill perfectly! They also have a bit of elastic in them right around the wrist area which provides an extra bit of grip so the gloves don't just slip off as you are working. They are very sturdy; I expect they will hold up very well ... and I love the style and color as well!

They would make a fantastic Mother's Day gift.
So glad that I bit the bullet and bought these rose garden gloves! At first I wondered if I wanted to spend that much, but the protection they provide against the many 'prickly things a garden brings' make them invaluable. I have already told everyone in my house that these are MINE, lol. They would make a fantastic Mother's Day gift.

Great for all of your roses!
Bought these as a gift for my pruning-happy sister. She loves them! She says they don't 100% stop thorns from poking through, but almost all of them. I followed the advice of other reviewers and bought a size larger, and it was the right decision.

High Quality Gloves
Bought a pair for my mother's birthday. She loved them and commented on how it would be nice to have garden gloves that extend up her arm for added protection. My sister now wants a pair so I ordered another set for her birthday.

Bought these for my mom and she said they’re more ...
Bought these for my mom and she said they’re more for light gardening gloves, she said thorns poked right through and no chance against a blackberry bush. Maybe if you were dealing with a small rose bush... she only wore them once but did say they were cute. Just not actually thorn prof

Saved scratching my arms.
These saved my arms from getting scratched so much more than my regular short gardening gloves. The elastic in the wrists helped them fit nicely. The price was good.
